Disable punching off drop

Punching should be disabled off drop, griefers who fail their landing should not be rewarded with a kill due to punching. Reason number two, punching does not work in this game. It's 50/50 if each punch will hit or not. I was just punched out punching right through a bloodhound where I was 1 punch ahead. Use some of that revenue on recolored skins to fix ur game ok? thanks.

  • @bananarepublic94 The punching snaps were nerfed a little. Before they were able to track way too well and snap to target way too far. Punches are fine where they are in terms of mechanics but I would listen to a debate on melee damage, 30dmg for a punch means you can get punched out by someone on drop even if you have some guns.
  • @bananarepublic94 Punching used to be really dumb, where you can snap to and lunge to players too far for melee range, and it would also lock onto doors and knocked players first, despite looking at someone who's clearly not knocked.

    Now we just have it refusing to punch the right target, and sometimes I can just punch right through someone and do no damage.

    It feels like the lunge mechanic for downed players might be coded separately from that for alive enemies, and not been similarly adjusted.  It seems like lock-on for downed targets is much stronger than for living opponents at the moment.

    Overall I think the changes to melee have been very good.

    Sry but what will you do if you dont get a weapon on drop in the first house? accept that someone will just bang you for free? As long as we dont start with a gun on drop we need punching as a last resort of defence lol
