It is gone @SugoiBuruSera @WeSmokeFatOnes .
Now deal with it.
No matter what do you write down here will ever change a thing. And even if you (magically) get all this useres here to your side.... nothing will change.
IT IS GONE

Well then the hardcore community is gone, influencers are gone and the games playerbase will be soon gone too, the game wont die but it wont be good enough to be again top on twitch or have decent playerbase... so yes... GONE

Yes, it's gone. Sadly. I don't see your point. I don't personally care that much about it, I dabbled with it for a bit, then decided to play without it as I can't be bothered. I am just trying to explain how removing it is bad FOR THE GAME, REGARDLESS OF HOW I PERSONALLY FEEL ABOUT IT. You, on the other hand, seem to have some petty agenda. Which is really, really sad, as it shows what your priorities are.
I can't disagree more with that stance, though. I wouldn't want to imagine a world where fighting games are void of combos (a glitch when it showed up) or where quake games are void of strafe jumping (also a glitch). A world where titles like OW, among others, dictate how a competitive game is handled, as if it was some tic tac toe variant.
I hope players as a whole see this and not just go by the "I PERSONALLY dislike x, therefore it needs to go". Respawn have made their decision and implications are huge. I stopped playing AL about a month ago, due to priorities in development (ie, horrible netcode being apparently the last thing on their list, which is fascinating, even though no game should have such netcode even in early beta, let alone full release). This decision just furthers that direction.
So, I am kinda surprised you quoted me on this, because I don't even remember this thread or what I wrote in it and I haven't followed the game for quite a bit, it must mean a lot to you on some weird, personal level and you don't see it as a certain direction taken by a developer, but rather as me and that other person you quoted, failing at... something?
This is shows the mentioned pettiness. It honestly amazes me. You willfully glee in a game you like playing losing its integrity decision by decision, just because you PERSONALLY don't like something and that something is being removed? This is the same as people who want character x nerfed, even though the character might be underpowered, because the character is "annoying" or they don't like the character. These things can be disastrous for games and kill them in an instant. I don't mean necessarily regarding player count, but regarding integrity.
For example, I didn't bhop, but being killed by a bhopping guy because of his bhopping rewards someone because they took the time to practice a certain skill. And it doesn't matter if the skill isn't that hard to practice, that's completely irrelevant. Not everything has to be strafe jumping in quake. But, I accept that. You, on the other hand, rejoice at the sign of removing as many possible differentiations that can stem from - players themselves and their abilities. Why? That is insane. All because something is a glitch. That's nonsensical. Quite a few discoveries were unintended, to say the least, let alone features in games. The petty categorization of "glitch" vs "intended" stifles this progress. In other words, we would NEVER have combos in fighting games if people were thinking like you. Can you imagine a fighting game without combos?
Removal of bhopping is the smallest of issues in this game, but it clearly underlines the direction with this game. I stopped playing it relatively long ago, due to other, more important reasons, but this just confirms that direction. So, no, I don't have to "deal with it", because I stopped dealing with it a month ago. First, I think you have issues (and I am not joking here or trying to be a douche) if you see things that way in the first place, second, bhopping is relatively irrelevant, which makes your post even more odd. But what's not irrelevant is what this decision represent. You, for some insane reason, find it a positive one. Me, on the other hand, find it as catastrophical, not for Apex, since I am not playing it anymore, but for the industry as a whole. So, if this (let's hope not) comes to fruition, well, at least some developer in some game patched out a thing you disliked while some other guy disagreed with it. A sound "victory", indeed.
Oh, I haven't followed the game, but I also heard they limited customization. I don't know to what extent but, yes, that seems in line with other decisions. I bet you are delighted because of that as well?
