Do people still like Arenas?

I was pretty excited when it first came out but I gotta say I hate the mode with a passion now and did so pretty shortly after its release. People just poke poke poke forever, and randoms don't know how to push, so even when you bring two enemies to low HP, they'll sit back and never take advantage. It feels like all the annoyances bar RNG that is in BR were distilled and put into a single game mode that also takes weirdly long if it goes back and forth.

 

I know people will just say "don't play it then lmao" but like... they're only doing the Arena event, not BR, and it's really helpful to level up your stuff.

    @HeyNameDoesntFi Tbh it was a good game mode concept but you get nothing out of it. No tracker, no materials, no packs. Its just a useless boring mode imo

    I like it but I cant really take it very seriously. Its fun if you wanna fight and frag without feeling stressed like ranked sometimes can make you feel. My biggest problem with the mode is that its quite rare the matches are very even. You usually win 3-0 or lose 0-3 and the majority of the matches that takes more rounds to finish unusually involves some kind of "throw" by one of the team, like a team being 2-0 with one win to go and all of them feel a bit trollish because the match is about to end and buys weird guns and try out experimental plays etc. 

    In my experience, its very very rare that you go to round 7-9 in a match where both teams tryhard and plays their best all rounds, which is a shame since those are the matches you get excited about

    I tried Arenas and all my teammates did was punch me so I left and I got an abandonment penalty which was the first-ever for me, long story short that will be the last time I play Arenas

    I usually just use arenas to warm up. Especially since Im done with the event and almost max battlepass level. The game mode is just frustrating the maps suck. There are so many legends passives and ultimates that are just useless in arenas. It gets boring and aggravating. The matchmaking is horrible. They should have just made arena maps instead of using areas from br maps. Then they put in a penalty which hopefully they remove when ranked is launched. They should also add more supply bins that have weapons and such in them. Which is what I thought it would be like.
