Audio is off by ~45 degree or more when you shoot your gun, especially prominent on G7, 3030 and Flatline for me, even created a video and reported that to EA I think on the 3rd day after patch release. That was almost as bad as audio on the initial e-district map release.
Otherwise I loled so hard as people asked to dampen teammate's footsteps which were a bit lower than enemie's yet annoying. What Respawn does - creates them even louder :D I think they are trolling us at this point. Or maybe for people who play the game on TV set (speakers) that works, on earphones...I can just agonizingly laugh about that change especially after they put up tweet that they will fix it before patch's release :D
Death screen - kinda I don't mind but what bothers me is totally long delay before I can spectate teammate or enemy that killed me + it does not happen automatically I guess by default you remain in stats screen and need to press "live -> spectate" option to "return" to the game.
Lags / delays in terms of input - yeah, Gun arsenals were the worst = delay + you pick up weapon instead of upgrading existing one. But I got used to it already. On the topic of revive = there is still not synchronized audio and animations = you can't let go of the button before your teammate is actually up and running otherwise chances are revive will get cancelled at the last second. But the list goes on here - gun animations, gun swaps (I guess there is even hack that solves this = instant gun swap), reloading + swapping combo, etc.
Only improvements I can outline since season 7:
- game optimization for AMD GPU/CPU has improved a bit (DX12 or something affected that), better quality, framerate, utilization. Overall still sub par imo
- sound was improving bit by bit till this season but I read somewhere that the engine is messed up and they will never be able to get crisp sound like in other games
- jump master randomly assigned - good change
- ... that's it :D rest was either "meh whatever" or changes made for the worst imo.
