@drevinum9EA has always been a money vampire. Their whole thing is make game, absorb absurd amounts of cash for up to 5 years, drop game off a cliff.
I would have suggested Bethesda buy the Titanfall Franchise from EA, but Bethesda is also having issues at the moment, their MMO ESO is on the ropes too. Though most people think's it's just engine incompatibilities. However, those dev's aren't giving anyone any information about the issues. They used to. They also aren't as stringent on the lore as they used to be.
So I'm still looking for a good company to follow.
Riot is more small time, but they have a good one with Valorant and League. It's not the same as the Titanfall experience, but the anti-cheat is rock solid.
If I had the money, I'd try to buy out Respawn from EA and buy the Titanfall Franchise, which of course includes Apex. Then I'd probably try to partner with Riot a little bit to get a functional Anti-Cheat. Hit the game with maintenance until the cheats are cancelled or whatever. Every hole sealed. Then it can return to normal.
As my first update, I'd have them add a Grenadier tree and explosive ammo type. SMR, Cold War, EPG, and Softball, maybe the MGL and Thunderbolt as well. Thunderbolt would probably be energy though.
EPG would consume 5 explosive ammo per shot. Softball 3 or 4. Cold War 1x4 because its a 4 shot burst. SMR 1 because it's an SMG of sorts.
For Skirmishers, Hover as a class perk.
For assault, I'm debating what to give that isn't OP. Perhaps Maggie's passive (scan). Maggie will keep it in her passive, mostly because class perks aren't active in Mixtape. However, I would buff Maggie's Passive to scan for group not just for self.
I would remove the double small heal from support class and add a armor slot for the Gold Armor Hopup, that grants the heal passive that the gold armor used to.
I would restore Gold Knockdown Shields, their removal further unbalanced the support meta imo, because now non support teams don't get a viable revive mechanism. Maybe ban it's effect from being usable on supports except for the shield part, since they already heal to full via a regen mechanism. Or negate the swifter revive effect while gold revive is equipped. But non-support classes/teams NEED it to be on equal footing vs support teams.
I'd probably do a Minecraft and every season, send out a poll for 3 Legends. I generate those concepts like crazy so no big deal, for about 50 seasons... Anywho, this poll would determine which of 3 concepts the team should go for, what do people want next? Though unlike the mobvote, the other concepts would still be viable and go on the backburner. Could reappear in the vote 5 seasons later or something. Or if there was controversy over the choice, could reappear in the next vote.
Oh the possibilities...
Oh, one thing I'd probably do is bullet calculations would be set server side. Clients would send "I fire bullet this direction at this time" and server would take that and cross reference with player and creature locations. If trajectory matches location, hit dealt, send hit register to both clients.
No more client side "I hit this target." No more bullets being fired into the sky and magically hitting people, because they can only send initial trajectory, not the whole path.
Auto aim might still be a problem. Same for wallhacks.
I might buff/increase the sound of being seer-scanned, make it less ambient. Might even change one of the sounds on kings canyon because it sounds identical to seer scan. This way if people tap a seer scan to cover wallhacks, people still hear a split second of it more noticeably and can potentially be ready for an incoming ambush. I haven't seen those cheats in a while but might as well be ready for it.

Oh, right, recent changes... I'd make Pathfinder's tac more like that of Titanfall 2. If that means a slight model change on his arm, so be it.
OOO. Idea, but wouldn't be immediate. A warning system under the map that has a bubble for every warning possible. Current top of screen warning would remain. This would be in addition, mostly for big fights where people can be targeted by many warnings at once. Grappled, Rocket Locked, Tagged, Scanned, Drone Sight, Etc.
Oh yes, Revenant the Silencer. Lore wise, some of his old chassis are still wandering around. Perhaps they didn't get the update. Perhaps they can't get the update. We'll bring him back, and set him in a new class, multiclassers/multikitters. Choose his assault silencer kit, or his skirmisher leaper kit.

Lightbearer (Strobelights passive, Shoulder Mount Tac, Spotlight Turret Ult)
Lightbearer Supreme (Strobelights and lightship spawn passive, Shoulder Mount and Spotlight Turret alt use tactical, Lightship Dropship Ult)

Pilot (Titan Ally passive {in your helmet, not physically there}, Pilot Kit Tactical, Pilot Boost Kit Ultimate) (will adhere to their concept of no double jumps or wallrunning) (very customizable, will have many potential kits. Some abilities may be unique to fit both theme and class. The passive remains the same in all.) (Kit1: Pulse Blade and Map Hack {limited radius}, recon class) (Kit2: Satchel and Ticks, assault)
Artillery (Grenade capacity passive, Thumper (can load grenades into it), Mortar (can load grenades into it, requires open area above to use similar to Valkyrie's tac and ult) - might be a bit like fuse, but he doesn't have any cluster grenades, nor rapid fire launching for grenades. Fuse will still be the best grenade spammer. Artillery will have some niche moments. Where Fuse is the mid combat guy, Artillery is the edge runner. Fuse can be used indoors, Artillery can't.
BTW, names are concepts too, they'll probably be changed before I make the poll, more fleshed out.
I'm a dreamer. This will probably never happen. Apex may even be put in the ground long before I ever get the chance buy it out. But one can hope or dream yes?
Edit: because I share @CkuttThaGod's sentiment, another thing I'd have done would be re-add arenas, at least the basic form if not also the ranked form.
