Apex legends died in season 17 and it won't come back. It has been stated and proven every season since. We can watch that player count decline all we want and they won't rise a finger to stop it. They are done and probably polishing a new game to keep sucking money from EA addicted players. Whatever EA was is gone and whatever they call Apex Legends is not with us anymore. "Rest in peace, the best game that was on the market"
