Does Valorant's Vanguard Anti-Cheat get you banned in this game?

I just got banned and I literally just had dinner after a Valorant game, because I left Vanguard Anti-Cheat open, does that gets you banned?

Interesting question, it shouldn't get you banned but I can see possible conflicts because of the way Anticheats work.
I have Valorant myself but disable Vanguard when I don't play it, just for this reason.

They try to reply within 5 business days but it could take a bit longer due to the increased safety measures being put in place. Just keep an eye on your mailbox and also check your spam and promotion folders as sometimes these emails can get routed over there.

    Me and one of my friends got perma banned for “cheating” after our first game on a new accounts. I submitted an appeal considering both of us had never used cheats or had suspicious software and had never been banned in any other game before. Both of us had vanguard installed and running at the time and I’ve been told by multiple people that’s most likely the issue. When I got a reply for my ban appeal months later it was just an automatic message confirming my ban. Worst appeal system ever.
