You are correct, but they separated RANK from CASUAL for a reason. I don't do RANK for a reason. And I would love to see the casual playlist put back and other maps rotating in also.
What do you mean by more secure?
@Zulkiers, I don't see how the rank servers are more secure from cheating. Is that your impression or is there some metrics that prove it out?
It has been said by some gaming guide companies and through polls taken et cetera - that ranked in competitive shooters harbors the most amount of cheaters by far over pubs. I read that the highest ranked lobbies gets close to a 60% cheater base. We have seen how many of the top Apex preds caught cheating live? Too many, not to mention top COD players as well. There has been more videos than I can count proving that the competitive scene is riddled with cheaters.
Pubs is safer from cheaters than ranked in my opinion based of the above. I suggest you do your own research though, and don't take my word for it. It is what I did.

My impression.
I don't get shot around walls as often, or through walls, firefights are closer, less veering bullets, people look directly at me when they shoot me instead of turned 90 degrees and still shooting me.
I don't see cheaters in my ranked lobbies.
@Zulkiers @That is extremely interesting and I will take that into account for sure and if I do switch to rank I will definitely look at how much I see possible cheating.
I don’t see bullets rounding corners and being hit after I take cover is a netcode artifact as well as possible cheating. What I really see too much of, and this could be netcode artifact as well, is the player shooting me twice and I get a report he hit me like eight times. That’s infuriating.
also, when I spectate after I die I watch carefully the person that took me out to see if they are doing anything squirrelly. I have seen a few “point” to an opponent or followed an opponent behind a wall and reported them before returning to lobby.
i have seen a couple of times this week where the guy who shot me was aiming like 60 degrees up above me and I was being told he was hitting me the whole time. I don’t see how the server could be telling me he was pointing away and yet shot me so I concluded that his orientation data was in a lost packet to my box. The server adjudicates the hit and would be responsible for confirming his aim orientation.
