Drop items when knocked down

I would love to see an update to the game where we would be able to access and drop items out of our backpack when we are knocked down. This would improve and add another level to team play coordina...

Would be cool. At same time it wouldnt. whole point of this game is survival. Now if your team member was knocked by the games logic thats it either rez or they die. To keep dropping armor for them by 2 team mates is not how it should work. Armor swap became a massive skill that needed perfected by the player and timed just right. You reduce the players skill level by allowing to drop back pack items.

@E9ine_AC You couldn't swap refreshed armor back and forth like you are saying. Remember, armor only "refreshes" when the player dies and you loot it from a death box. If you were knocked down, you wouldn't be dead. So if they implemented a change that allowed you to drop your armor, the armor would be empty.

    Yes but again crate swapping of items and armor have become a skill level of its own. No need to change things. If the person cant armor swap to save them self then dropping it will not save them either.

        I understand where you are coming from but I would say, be vocal to your teammates on the items you DO have. So many people are just not vocal and it shows in their rank and overall gameplay. Being vocal is part of every game, even casual play but just because they are not vocal on the items you need, you should express on what you have.... ALSO, you can now check what ammo a person has when you hit your inventory button. You know exactly what backpack they have, the type of ammo they have, as well as their Armor. This adds another level of play that not many people are aware of.

        This may be a slight skill-gap to some people who has difficulty of keeping track of their teammates, but I absolutely don't want to dumb this game down any further than it needs to be.
