This new ranked system is literal garbage

I've been playing the game since release. I've been in every season. I've always enjoyed it. No matter how bad it was, it was always fun, but this Season 26 is terrible. I've deleted the game now. I can't decide where I want to jump off anymore. You have certain power-ups, so what's the point of looting ammo or batteries? A Legend who can disable any ability. That's taken the fun out of the game for me.

I have to agree, this new ranked system is not good. I hope they will go back to letting us just choose to land where we want, instead of being forced to be where the game says. 

What the hell is this forcing me to land wherever game choses which 90 percent of the time is the outskirts of the map meaning its taking forever to get to people so by the time we do there already dead ontop of that apparently we now get even less points for kills and assists just played a game had 1 kill 1 assist 18 squads left and i was still at -2 i started at minus 10 they need to stop messing with this game every season all I bloody want is to get points for my kills and assists and be able to land where I want is that so much to ask for !!!!!!!

Where do I even start. This ranked season sucks, and it’s only been 6 hours of me playing it. Every game I get dropped at the edge of the map, with a sliver of hope it’s in the middle (spoiler, it’s NEVER middle drop). Then I proceed to get landed on the same location every game, not to mention with the most unholy filthy dog ahh loot ever. Then, when my team IS finally kitted up and ready to fight, we encounter one squad, and as if Jesus fed the 5000 at beck and call, every squad known to humanity appears before me in one small area. 3rd party isn’t even in the question anymore, it’s just a free for all warzone. So much for “live for KP”, if I could EVEN live or push a fight properly that would be somewhat decent, but I can’t, because I have a caustic gassing my backside like it’s WW2 Battle of Arass, and then I furthermore get bang outed 24 times like it’s a hurricane rainstorm of MISSILE BOMBS. I haven’t had a single game where I’ve been able to get to final ring or round 4. I was previously D2. This ranked just absolutely SUCKS. Overall -8.9/10. Please respawn, I beg get rid of the random drops, no one watches ALGS for this reason, and furthermore, I don’t even want to watch my own gameplay. Ranked is about combat skills, not who can identify the best building to camp in and fight their demonic urges to not fight. Absolute horrible ranked season don’t even think I want to touch it again. I’d rather have the dog horror filthy 30-30 G7 meta back, than play this ranked season again where I feel like I’m having a 7 foot pole impaled into me and succumbing to caustic gas like it’s the Chernobyl reactor gamma rays every single second of my game, slowly eating away at me.

i win 2 games, 8+ kills in silver and get 300 rp...this new system is a joke.

I had a game where i had wiped 2 teams by myself, and gotten another 1-2 participations in gold rank, even after that, and 12min of playing, i still managed to lose roughly 10rp because there were 14+ teams left. I've seen reviews stating this new seasons fights feel more fulfilling, and they feel rewarded, and they're happy theres more people by the end! And yet all i feel is like its more beneficial to camp the whole game, and kill only when theres less then 5 teams left.

naw new POI system is fire, love it. Go play fortnite.

It's season 14 all over again. People hated "placement is king" then, and apparently they hate it now too. Personally I don't care whether they arbitrarily choose to reward kills over placement or placement over kills. But I HATE being told where to drop. Restricting choice is never a good idea, imo. It makes me spiteful, contrary, and generally unhelpful to my team. Though I was most of those things already, so not sure anyone would really notice any difference.

Loll, yeah, i agree the idea of restricted landing has made things really interesting. I know loots always been random no matter where ya land, but it feels like high loot zones still exist, but now only one or two teams can go there, ontop of if your loot zone only has shotguns and sniper depots, you're gonna have a harder time dealing with a team with heavy and light depots.

The idea of a selected drop zone where everyone can see where players are landing before they drop *could* be interesting, though if they allowed players to select the zone/place on the map they were going through maybe a warp system.
