Ea needs to fix their voice chat for Apex Legends. Teammates can’t hear me.

I don't understand why this game has the worst voice chat system in the world. Almost every team mate I have has such terrible quality in voice chat I can hardly understand them. 

Still an on going problem, no idea how it's been over 6 months with no posts of efforts or resolve from EA.

EDIT: I see a few posts acknowledging the issue but nothing about steps forward to resolve etc.

My friends and I have always used discord, precisely because the in-game bitrate is terrible.

I can appreciate they don't want to overload the bandwidth of those playing with awful connections (given that the game itself is already rather a bandwidth hog & latency ridden mess), however couldn't it be configurable?

Send & receive bitrate settings, with the lowest value between clients being negotiated as the one used?

It seems bonkers that, when playing with a mixture of randoms & friends, I have to broadcast both in-game & in discord, and have my friends mute me in-game.

Since there are certain teammates I cannot mute, no matter what, I have turned my incoming voice chat to 0%.

I'm sure I am not the only one.

Sorry but I cannot play with some terrible player who is on the ground screaming about how his teammates suck, I need the game sounds more.

Before this I had no issues with voice chat.

I only ever have this problem if I'm playing on PC and playing with Xbox or Playstation people but it is a very serious problem they can hardly hear me at all

When I used to play with randoms unmuted I would perfectly understand 3-5 randoms a day but have no idea what the other 20-30+ were even trying to say most of the time... I always assumed they just had terrible mics and thats why I only understood certain players... the worst part was some dude would have an open mic just spamming keyboard clicks and people would have a tv or music on in the background or were talking to people in the room with them and it just drowned out the sounds you needed to hear like footsteps or gunshots

i don’t even risk leaving my randoms unmuted anymore, never understood most of them anyways and when you did it was either someone trolling or being extremely toxic and cussing you out because they full sended with no communication and instantly died or because you took their legend and after I started muting players every Game I started seeing wins more frequently because I wasn’t being distracted by useless nonsence every other game
