EAC Isn't Cutting It
Besides the top 1% being on smurph accounts or dropping their main accounts to lower skilled lobbies, the game is chalk full of aimbotters and wall hackers.
There's players hitting nothing but head shots, players camping areas they normally wouldn't camp, (and I'm talking about camping spots that are 100+ meters from the next ring and they have zero reasons to be sitting there), too many console players using xim or strike packs, bunch of players having zero recoil, (with the pros, you can tell they're fighting the recoil as there's usually some upward motion, however these players that I'm seeing have none of that, they're firing guns like the R-99 long range, and they're hitting all their shots).
I've even reported blatant aimbotters a few seasons ago, and by "blatant", I mean they're snapping player to player, including ones behind walls, and their bullets are only hitting the other player's heads, and somehow these cheaters are still playing.
Easy "Anti-Cheat" is a joke, and should just get replaced already. Other games that use it also deals with the same surge of cheaters, so its clearly has proven ineffective. Especially when it seems to ignore player reports when it comes down to those who are clearly cheating.
Although despite players complaining about the game's problems, I'm well aware that we're most likely are not going to see any changes in how the anti-cheat works. However, using ones that rely on player reports is a bad move. A lot of players tend to ignore and think the cheater is actually good, and those who recognize it as a cheater tend to get ignored by the very program meant to help them.
