Easy Anti-Cheat for Linux/Proton available

I really hope they decide to enable it as it literally seems like just a few clicks if they care enough

i swear to god that the only reason i have a Windows dual-boot set up on my pc is to play Apex legends, it is the only thing installed on it and i hate having to go through so much of a hassle to restart pc into windows just to play the game.

please Respawn, let me uninstall this instance of microsoft operative system from my hard-drive, i beg you

Please enable this. Apex is the last game I still boot up Windows for. I'll keep buying skins and fighting through server disconnects I promise!

Yess! Finally! I've tried Apex through Proton (what Steam uses to run Windows games on Linux) and the game boots just fine into the server region selection screen, it is just the Easy Anti-Cheat that fails and doesn't allow us to go further, that means if these small steps are taken anti-cheat will work and NO ADDITIONAL STEPS will be required to make the base game compatible with Linux.

More customers means more in app purchases! Think, EA! Think!

I switched from Win 11 to Arch the moment this news dropped, and have Apex installed, please enable EAC  support for Wine/Proton.

I personally care for and use Windows, but like Apex is a PC game. This is a PC platform, so I hope they enable it.

Love this game but since I switched from Windows to Linux I have not played it. Would love to play it again on Linux!
