To everyone in this chat who's uninformed about the facts. Fortnite did not become successful within a whole year after release. Updates were slow, lot's of bugs took a long time to fix. And twitch metrics are not the way of measuring the success of a game.
Apex still has millions of players, and most of the FPS players that were not part of a Fortnite e-sports team before Apex released are playing Apex all the time.
Only Shroud doesn't, but Shroud has been a variety streamer and will stay a variety streamer.

Yeah... And let's not forget the human cost behind Fortnite's success. Respawn said they wanted to treat their employees as well as possible.
- 7 years agoI could play fortnite from launch to today without extreme lag or being lag booted from every match. Apex has failed to fix the major problems with networking and they are losing players and money because of it.
