It's one of the least thought out things added to the game. It impacts games so much, and not in a good way, everyone wants to hide and if you're unfortunate enough to land away from the zone with a bunch of different teams that you have to fight, by the time the fighting in your general area stops, you have to move into the zone, only to be greeted by edge of the circle campers that look to get top 5.The overall purpose of the match is defeated, which usually was win the the most amount of kills that you can get, now it makes people only want to hide to get continuous top5 for the bull crap queue. It's an endless cycle, i hope it gets removed as soon as season 2 starts and replaced with a skill based queue (ranked).
@Throhjen I recall even seeing a YouTube video saying the best way to get a high win streak is to land in a quiet place and avoid running into battles if possible meaning even that streak badge that could possibly tell if a player is good or not is useless because you could get high streaks just by hiding. Really really hope they make the next event either level or kill/damage based so you HAVE to chase those fights in order to get stuff. Camping is just not what this game was made for but that's exactly what's happening right now
