Agreed and I think it also should apply to friendly thermite fire (like green fire) and grenades/arc stars that has been thrown by a friendly but is yet to explode should glow in green and show a green grenade indicator. I think this actually is a very fair thing to implement to minimize the coms advantage that premades have over solos. Sometimes you dont know if its a teammates Rev Q or an enemies and if that happened with a premade squad, you would just ask "is it your Q" and get a quick reply back.
And on the subject of color coding; I also think they must remove the player names over your teammates and replace this with a strong green outline glow around the model. I hate when I literally lose a fight only because the only thing I can see in the horizon in front of me is the letters [ UwU ] FunnyHoneyMoneyBunny. Having teammates names on your screen fills literally no purpose since you never identify your random teammates by the names anyway.
To add onto this idea, the color scheme should also follow with the color blind options (I mean... why would it not anyways?), and maybe an option to set custom colors.
