Strengths- Cross Play enables the community to finally play with players on other platforms which helps with matchmaking and our overall experience- Apex Legends has chosen a unique route with this which satisfies console players- It gives people more competition to climb higher in the ranks which is absolutely amazing for me as a competitive gamerWeaknesses- Players on PC now suffer from much slower matchmaking compared to console as cross platform play is not always active for them- The pop up UI that shows when you receive a cross platform friend request is really big and can be very annoying for streamers etc. if a lot of people send requestsMy suggestions to improve- ALL platforms should play together in cross play lobbies- When you receive a friend request a UI doesn't pop up; to accept, block or decline you should need to go into the social menu

@CompleatBeet No, all platforms should not play together in crossplay lobbies. As a console player, I do not want to have to play against PC players since they have bigger competitive advantage.

I play on Xbox. Personally, I wish the cross-play worked as such...- Xbox and PlayStation players always play together as long as cross-play is enabled and 0-1 PC players are in theirs quad.This next part could be really nice if able to function correctly: "If an Xbox One or Playstation 4 player and PC player party up together, they will be put into PC matches. This ensures that the console games don’t have PC players in them, but still allows for the console player to play with their PC friend if they opt-in."I would prefer the game would choose which matchmaking queue to enter based on the majority of players in the squad. *Meaning, if there's only 1 PC player, but 2 console players, it will put that squad in the console queue.* If a PC player and console player want to do duo's, I'd still prefer being put in the console queue so the majority of players in that lobby are on console.The second part of that quote, "This ensures that the console games don’t have PC players in them, but still allows for the console player to play with their PC friend if they opt-in..."As a console player, I'd much rather be put into the console queue with some PC players like I mentioned above*, instead of being forced to go against all PC players if I want to play with my friend who is only on PC.

I dislike the PC cheater community. I played Apex Legends for over a year, Some say it's not a big thing, their very VERY VERY VERY WRONG. I also tried to play Battlefield on PC, what a joke.I was spending more of my time watching and recording people just to see the same cheater weeks later. Most of the cheaters I would report would be new accounts 200 kills or less, but I would see them with 4000 kills at a later date, F that.So, no PC is not a platform, it's a plague. When you can expect 1 cheater in rooms of just 60 players, You have an issue with your community. All of that was just public, I can't even think the amount of ninja cheaters in ranked that just look through walls and shoots someone at the end to get a free win and/ or the amount of players using scripts for recoil, just no. PC should be invite ONLY.I'm not here to do someones job for them and report every cheater I see, I'm here to game.

@IAmTheMeddler imo they should make controller only lobbies so that PC players who play with controller can join PS4/Xbox lobbies. And you aren't correct about PC advantage one of the best PC player and pred plays with controller on PC.

Im a xbix player and id rather play with pc players caus they dont have aim asast but skill. I have been kiled by level 10 ps4 bots were they shoot me truh a wall. Well what im tryan to say is id play with pc who has skill and 0 aim asast that play afainst ps4 wit 0 skill and only aimbot aimasast

Not to mention playing console to pc should be a separate option.. not just enable and disable crossplay option. Pc preds have big advantage with playability over console.
Console to console seems fine.
If u disable crossplay right now, ull never load into a match which is stupid.
And if u play crossplay, ull notice a significant change in how common lag will become.

Pc players and PlayStation both have had about 100 matches with them where they camp hide in corners like trash cans or my personal favorite wait till everyone is dead then snatch all the loot or run away and wait for the whole squad to teamfire(trash activity) 2/3 then come out i want to shut it off

Server wait times are horrible, if I wanted to wait 10+ minutes I would play OverWatch.

Everything you say is wrong.
Players don't improve their ability by playing with other platforms.
I don't improve if I have very weak team mates that always get killed easily or just run away. Team mash up is bad. I'm level 500+ and my team mates are always below level 50...
I never went over gold ranked, but I get always, always, always, entire teams of Predators and diamonds in my lobbys. How am I supposed to improve if 90% of my games I get killed in one second, no matter what I do????
People say, "you have to land were you have the chance to make more kills, in hot drops".
Yes, but my game lasts 10 seconds or less and I don't find loot, the loot is always on another building.
People say "land on this one, you'll always find a gun and a shield, at least". But NO, no gun, no shield and 20 people around me. Over and over again. Most of them Predators, that seem to kill me with only one shot of p2020...
You really have to do something about the mash up, lobbys and teams or next season is bye bye apex. Sure as hell, I'm not gonna spend no more money
