Im getting sick of this damn bug its been happening forever and you never fix it guns like havoc R-301 and Eva 8 do it all the time your just trying to shoot the enemy and your character auto throws out punches mid gun fight?’!?!? Its bull and needs fixed i havnt seen a single thing get fixed lately and its getting annoying i havnt even seen blueberry respond to a single post in weeks either he was active on here now non existant I posted this bug twice already your just hitting Right Trigger to shoot and after 2-3 bullets you throw out a punch and lose the fight its extreemely annoying in final 3 im just pissed off right now because i need shotgun kills for my daily and i went through 5 games and didnt even find one just mozambiques then i found one and threw out a punch after 2 shots and i died ._. And i gtg cant play rest of the day rip daily

@FaIIenAngeI777 Do you also punch with R3 click? It's possible that you accidentally push it and it messes your fight.

@SpyrosFPSNo thats not it when in close range like idk 5-8 feet irl distance you hit Right Trigger and it just throws out punch in mid fire I have no problem with the peacekeeper, R-99, Prowler, Snipers, mozambique, mastiff, hemlok, devotion, etc it only happens whenever i pick up a havoc, eva 8 or R-301 Havoc used to be my favorite weapon in season 1 but in season 2 it started that punch bug so i rarely use only if its first weapon i find idk why but in firing range i can never get them to do the punch I think something about being close to an enemy it just auto throws a punch but I like to push crouch slide and jump get all on an enemy lmao so Its annoying when it throws out punches it only happens with those weapons why im saying its a bug ive never misclicked R3 in any of my other gunfights with other weapons so why would I everytime i use those 3 weapons?!?like last night i was respawned in final 3 teammate dropped me a havoc i wasnt even next to the guy but was firing at him and it just threw out a punch midclip we still won but its just the point it only punches with havoc mainly R-301 and eva 8 it rarely happens but everytime i pick up a havoc it punches ._. It legit used to be my favorite weapon i used it all the time when i first started apex and now i cant even pick it up

You’re pressing in on R3 too hard. Happens to me sometimes and my friend does it a lot. It’s the intensity of the fight and you’re doing it without meaning to, and why it doesn’t happen in the firing range.

Im NOT hitting R3 by rage I don’t get pissed off and cringe hold my controller in fights im usually relaxed it happens when Im casually trying to fire the weapon besides it ONLY HAPPENS with the HAVOC and rarely with R-301 or Eva 8 and NEVER HAPPENS WITH OTHER WEAPONS and I have been in major fights and its never happened before so i know for a fact im not clicking R3 it only happens with those 3 weapons mainly with the havoc all the time though why would I cringe with the havoc its literally one of the easiest weapons to control in the game i used to use it all the time now I just use R99 and never have the punch problem in face to face fights

@FaIIenAngeI777Well, it’s happened to me with others weapons. The Flatline for example. If it’s a bug, then are they even aware of it?

@DarthVaaparIdk I just know I’ve posted it 2-3 times already why I was so pissed earlier mainly just because i spent so long to find a shotgun had 2/3 kills done for daily and midfight it threw out a punch lmao I can’t play every day only for half the week so ya I never got to finish the daily XD I had other places to go and Its never happened to me with a flateline I just know every single time i pick up a havoc it happens

Try Button puncher layout but then you might crouch in Battle with R3 :P if this happens then that's your problem.
I have changed my controls through Xbox accessories and now i loot/reload with R3 and i don't have this problem.
Just try Button Puncher to see if you accidentally crouch in Battle or loot/reload/revive with R3 to fix the problem.

No thanks it sounds like a good solution to try but 1 i dont want to switch button layouts and 2 its just gonna wear out the right joystick quicker and i will be buying another controller quicker constantly clicking those always messes them up i keep settings on auto sprint so the left joystick dosnt break like the last 2 controllers lmao constantly clicking to run was bad maybe sprinting has something to do with it auto punching midfight but it only really happens everytime i pick up a havoc i noticed bangalores double time makes it happen more frequently so it could be something with the speed burst but it happens with all legends aswell so maybe auto sprint idk

@FaIIenAngeI777 Yeah that's true it might break your right stick but R3 melee is bad. Just a slight R3 push in an intense battle can mess you up and start throwing punches.
Okay I hope you figure something else.
I don't use havoc much but i use R301 and it never happens with my controller layout.

Idk i will try to mess with havoc more on wednesday when i can play again it just seems odd why it happens with the havoc and not with R99, prowler, peacekeeper, devotion wingman hemlok or any of the other weapons ive been using lately well wingman makes sence i dont really go all crazy with wingman lol but it seems like i would be punching nonstop with R-99 if I was hitting R3 anyways thanks for your advice I gtg to bed Gn
