When it comes to audio very rarely do I ever have issues with it in terms of hearing things. Not sure if it is people's headsets (I am sure a lot will spout out I paid 200+ for mine they are good) I would have to disagree. You paid for a logo not quality IMO. I use the HyperX Cloud headphones and I am able to hear when people are coming from a distance hear people looting below and above or beside. Friends often ask if I have wall hacks because I hear people in buildings they can not. They bragged I paid 200+ for mine one of the best on the market. All I can ask them is why can't you hear then? =P Not at all saying people's headphones are bad or anything or not what they paid for im saying the quality between them is what makes the difference. My friends who recently swapped to Hyperx can now hear things like I did.
I am so sick and tired of this logic.
"oh I never have audio issues so that means you all are just complaining."
NO. The game has major audio issues you are just lucky. I have a brand new turtle beach stealth 700 gen 2.
I don't understand why everyone is so easy to write off people who say they have audio issues.
And not everyone can afford a $200 headset. I shouldn't have to have a super expensive headset to hear well.
Then if my headset is so bad how do you explain the fact that I can clearly hear everything and its direction in literally every other game I play.
Ok maybe the headset does make a difference. Then what is your excuse for audio bugs???
If someone is killed in a corner, there is a constant insanely loud whooosh sound. Like someone falling. And for about three seasons straight, me and five other friends all heard a loud beeping sound that would randomly start in any matches and persist randomly through it. Once we dashboard and close the game it stops.
So in the end, you are telling me, EVERY single person who has audio issues is because they have a bad headset? That is ridiculous. I don't understand why you feel the need to defend a multi-billion dollar game studio so hard. It's like you can handle a single negative word said about the game.
- E9ine_AC4 years agoHero+@Kateh8sapex I am not saying there are not issues as I stated I do hear them myself its just not as often as some people do. I am more speaking on terms of hearing enemies come up behind you or beside you. I hear the whoosh from time to time but is it game impacting for me? I will say no. It does make me more alert to think someone has most certainly dropped on me but other than that it does not effect my game-play.
- 4 years ago@E9ine_AC Most major streams all agree the audio is bad and non existent. I get that in your experience you don't have any issues but that doesn't account for the majority of players. It's not headsets that are a problem and that's a very poor argument/solution to bring up.
- E9ine_AC4 years agoHero+@chiefthunderball I 100% can agree with this. Some big streamers do claim no audio a lot of times it's when they mess up and want to blame the game for their mistakes. I can hear them on stream how can they not hear them while playing? If I can hear footsteps on someone's stream when they could not what would this indicate? My sound tuning is far superior than they have. I have spent a lot of time perfecting my audio to perform the best it can inside apex. Which im sure they just plug in their device and go about playing. Just because someone has dropped 200 bucks on a set of headphones does not make them good. There is more to it than just inserting a headet and expecting it to work good. There are programs most motherboards and such come with to deal with audio. If they do not tune these then they will have poor hearing abilities.
BTW I do agree there are audio issues inside the game. But some can be diverted by simply adjusting sound settings to be more clear.
