Fix your game

This game has been completely destroyed.

Balance has been nonexistent since Season 21, and it's only getting worse.

The meta is constantly being forced on a few weapons and legends. There are more and more legends in the game, but only 20-30% are playable. The rest can be removed.

The move buff has made legends useless without them. There are tons of cheaters, and nothing has changed. The game is a complete mess.

They can't do anything with a straight face, with a calm demeanor. They make massive buffs to a certain legend or weapon, then everyone complains about it, and then have to nerf it 3-4 times before it's fixed.

And this happens every **bleep** season.

Octane still hasn't been nerfed, Alter still hasn't been nerfed, Maggie still hasn't been nerfed. Why was Wattson buffed again? She was already very good... I'm completely lost with what Respawn is doing. Gibby is too strong, he's been buffed too much... Hemlok? This is just some kind of joke and I'll leave it without comment.

What is wrong with this development team...

What really annoys me is that I am a returning apex player used to play on console now playing on pc i stopped playing for a while (mind you back then I could get a couple of kills). played on and off, and I just came back cause I missed the fun games I used to have even solo, but let me just say this matchmaking is horrendous to the point that I jump in against either preds or masters if I am lucky I get a gold and to my surprise it's a level 48 with 6,000 kills (obvious cheater)! This game needs to be fixed badly the Gundam event skins are cool and all but I just jump into games where suddenly everyone is beaming me from 500m away with a Flatline or R301. I know the R301 is stable but a Flatline with bullet drop at that range should tickle me at best, but nope beamed out of existence and I know for a fact that I am unfairly matched since never in the 73 games I just played I met a team that missed a shot unless....unless I get a gibby bubble dome up then I get to see the bullets going straight for my head in 4k! this is stupid I swear the amount of annoyance I had far outweighs the fun! I'm glad I'm not the only person having this issue cause man this is a very disappointing experience.

First game in the new Wildcard split and immediately a level 8 cheater.

Nothing has changed.

Im willing to wait as long as it takes to face exact equals sweating with a percentage of a 50/50 outcome. As opposed to waiting a minute to play with a 1% chance to win one fire fight against players 12 times my skill level. 

I get why that feels frustrating, those swings from a win straight into a rough streak can be brutal. But it’s probably not as simple as the game being “broken.”

Around this time of day, the player population is usually a lot lower. Because of that, matchmaking has a smaller pool to work with, so it’s much more likely that you’ll get placed into lobbies with higher ranked players (like Masters and Preds), or end up with teammates who don’t quite match your level. The system is basically trying to balance fairness with queue times.

If matchmaking were made super strict so you only played with perfectly equal skill levels, you’d likely be waiting 10–20 minutes (or more) just to get into a single game, and people would understandably complain about that too.

That said, concerns about cheaters are totally valid, and that’s something the devs do actively work on. But in terms of matchmaking at quieter times, there’s only so much that can realistically be done without making queue times much worse.

Hopefully that gives a bit of context, even if it doesn’t make those tough games any less painful 😅
