If you are having trouble with foot sounds, there is a good chance it's related to something on your end. I personally have never had any trouble at all knowing exactly where people are. Not generally where they are, exactly where they are. I have also played the game since launch. I use a wireless, non-fidelity focused headset like the Logitech G930 or the Corsair Void RGB Pro. I am confident in saying it's you, not the game
