Footstep sounds in game

I fully agree with the lot of you on this. It's probs a bug that's gonna get adressed. The first few weeks of a game are major as devs see what needs finetuning for general masses.
They of course gametested, but if you work on something for a long time, you'll ease into the thinking that it's perfect the way it is because you're basically blind to the problems.

I've had instances where I could clearly hear people over 20 feet away, only for them to have become silent while they're still running towards me. Other times I hear random people suddenly in the building where I am when there first were no sounds. Feels like the Blackout audio sound design all over again XD. Hopefully this studio gets it right faster.

It’s not that they aren’t loud enough, there is barely any difference in the sound if they are 30m away or right behind you. If an enemy walks into the very room I’m looting the footsteps are still kinda muffled and not really louder.
