In early game that would me way too op imo... the games loot spawning is already unbalanced as hell when and entire area has nothing but P2020s and Arc stars until you go into one building and suddenly find a purple shiled, peacekeeper and 301 + extended mag... the player who gets that stuff will have a huge advantage over opponents already, giving them back extra health and shileds would unbalance things even more. Personally I think I would prefer a system where all players regaiined health slowly over time... like octance but a lil slower.
But shields should also be nerfed in early game imo... I would like some kind of system where all shileds are only charged to 1 bar when you pick them up and then slowly autocharge over the first 90 secs of the game (30 secs per bar) and cannot be charged past the auto charge point using cells or battery... this would mean no player would benefit from having full purple shileds until 90 seconds into the game... evening things out in those early battles.
