Disagree, takes skill to hit shots and ROF is just fine, the G7 is just fine where it's at.

"Takes skill" lol ok. A sniper with huge burst potential. Makes sense

Not everyone uses the Double Tap either. You're getting double tap constantly, it because you're too close too them and they switched to it.
A SMG, assault rifle, or even a LMG and Shotgun will out damage double tap close range if you land your shots in time. Double Tap might be enough to pull the trigger once or twice which is 2-4 shots that might all miss or not. Double Tap is less accurate than single fire.
I only use Double Tap if you too close to me or I want to thirst someone on the ground faster. Most of the times though, I just switch my weapon to a SMG or Assault Rifle if you pulling up too close to me because I aim down sights too much.
Which is another thing. Double Tap is less accurate aiming down sights but when you hip fire a G7 Scout with Double Tap. It's good and will potentially hit the target who's too close to you.
When I use G7's Double Tap to thirst people, I am not aiming at them. I am hip firing it while walking around their knockdown shields.
G7 Scout is fine where it at. Pick it up more, learn it more. It not the best in every match. I miss shots still with it. I want to get better at aiming and hitting my shots more often than missing, but that only happens if you keep picking the weapon up to master it.
I know people who always pick up the Triple Take or Longbow and that how they got better with those weapons. I can't hit a headshot with those weapons for the life of me at long ranges. They are skillful weapons. 🙂
