Game infection rate (actual!)

Yeah today was rough as well as soon as Devs left EMEA server game quality dropped crazy fast, NAE also infested af... gold/silver players ripping people apart.

Going to D4 will be hell of a challenge :D

Got stuck between P1 and D4 yesterday but the trend continues = every game (except few odd ones) is infested.

Thinking about numbers posted by Respawn I would tend to lean towards the idea that "infection rate" is calculated = hackers per match / 60 (total players). From my past experience indeed there are at least 3-4 usually more hackers PER MATCH which oddly meets the 7.6% figure aka 4.5 hackers per 60 players.

Somehow I have a feeling that as per now established "feed lower ranked players to Preds" matchmaking algorithm game treats those hacker squads (usually doing 10+ kp games again and again) as Preds (well they kinda are similar) = every game INTENTIONALLY might be populated with 1-3 squads of "better than average" players and similarly how Preds are not pinned against eachother hackers do too avoid playing mostly other hacking squads.

At this point I am considering maybe going for D4 but honestly 50% of me has given up on a motivation to persevere and play Diamond lobbies at this state of the game, very probably will just switch back to Valorant and other games in the meantime...current state of Apex is just sad, very sad.

First 3 games of today in EMEA - hackers doing 10-12 kills, 3k damage (pretty much pushing every squad alone 1v3, most me and teammate did was maybe 1k damage in the game where our dude ended up with 13+9 and almost 4k).

Then as per usual EMEA or NA east = every game at least 1 hacker squad.

Day ended with this game (yeah I am still P1) (screenshot) where current pred won pushing everything and of course using clear wallhack and aimbot (sadly one of the pro player clans based on tag, twitch and everything (dude playing but not streaming while other data matches - badges, legend currently in play, current state of the game etc.). When will you cleanse Europe of cheaters? Because only the beginning of the seasons are bearable, and from mid-to-late there's so much of it that I don't even want to play the game.

In my experience a previous trend was that first 1-2 weeks (if you progress fast) were really unbearable because of hackers / pros / streamer being added to ex-Plat / ex-Diamond4 lobbies, then mid-split was ok and last 1-2 weeks were again unbearable because all "boo hoo I want master's badge" hackers came along to do like 1000+RP day "grind" and go from whatever to borderline Masters in that time.

Now though I feel like it is about time of the day:

• during daytime say 10:00-15:00 aka kids time lobbies are even too easy if you can bare soloqing with kids (they just mentally unstable these days and shout into mic or play random music / sounds every other game)
• peak time is imo the best time - more competitive, adult people come online, player base is highest, you get a better mix of players and less % of hackers (still they are present pretty much every game but just 1-2 not like 3+)
• after like 20:00 adults go back to life, kids go to bed and this is the worst time, lobbies are basically the same, same players same hackers + every other game new matchmaking system feeds you into Pred lobbies as soon as you go positive (or not)
• night time = past midnight is absolutely the worst as Preds / hackers come online full swing, player count is low so you get into Master/Pred lobbies 2 out of 3 games no matter your rank or results, soloq regulars mostly are stoned, drunk or half-asleep yet still think they Apex Preds ... (that's why being from EU I shift to NAE or even NAC as soon as I feel this trend given I play late at nights as well)

Like 2 days ago for the first time in ages I saw Respawn dev in EU server = games were fantastic, it almost feels like hackers have a way to tell when devs are active online. As soon as devs left -> hackers started to rule the game as per usual. Otherwise especially Slavic (mostly Russian) players are just totally chill about hacking, they don't care like at all, they just enjoy ruining games for others / potentially making money boosting accounts. I have spoken with some and they openly admit it in Russian and really couldn't care less... I heard that in Asia culture of "whatever it takes" is ok with people but I think in Russia it is also quite similar as same happens in Valorant making Stockholm server unplayable as it is swarmed by smurfs and hackers from Russia (they can still play it with ~100ms ping, Frankfurt and further is already too high for them).

I'm waiting for EA's response - when will you address Europe and ban those using macros/wallhacks and aimbots? The population may be 30% smaller than it is now, but at least we'll know we're playing with normal players.

Watching a well-known streamer (gdolphn) and seeing his opponent get 20,000 kills on Pathinder while using an aimbot is insane.

How is it possible for people to have accounts this long and still not get banned for using aimbots? What has been wrong with this game for over a year (maybe even closer to two)?

Respawn just has created what I call Olympics = everyone knows that by now everyone is using forbidden substances to boost results, yet event is soo big and so profitable (except hosting countries :D) that they will not cancel it nor will they suddenly make a move to ban everyone who use substances as results will then drop back by decades, people will not be interested to watch people run 100m at 11-13 seconds knowing that 9,58 is possible.

Same here. If a while ago we could assume that good mechanics + mastering controller (benefiting from AA in close range over MNK) + wallhack was enough to be pro/streamer, then now when average Joe spends 100+$ on cheat subscription or 1000$+ on complete setup as informed by Zeus on YT the bar is so high that you need to use top notch hacks to remain on top.

Just had and example from 3? days ago when in one game I got run over by Russian at least duo maybe also third was on it blunt hackers - running Ash and Octane, running into people, Octane had some sort of speed shotgun + aimbot (did shoot me with Mastif for 150+ in split second) -> next game (one I posted in matchmaking topic where current #13, 15 and 45 Preds got into lobby with Gold 3 actually gold 3 level player) Pred squad just roll over that same hacker squad... I mean... 1+1 = 2 for me.

Adding to that there has always been rumors about people on Respawn side who cover up hackers for $$$, unban accounts that spend $$$ on the game etc.

If general public would boycott streamers / pros and request clean(er) game environment things might be different but given noone care or worse are fan boys/girls of streamer hackers ... this is the end result aka your Enchanced games.

Now, to level the playing field, they should at least provide a built-in wallhack for everyone in this game. I'm tired of feeling walled by others in practically every game.

Today, in 6-7 hours of gameplay, I encountered about 20 low-level cheaters, just playing "Joker" mode. It's crazy what's happening to this game.
