Let me play with only bots in bot royal...

My squadmates will go down on the other side of the map, and I will practically spam ping the replicator that I'm standing next to. The guy who went down first will wait until his down turns into a death and then instaquit. He's too dumb to look at his map and see that I'm not close enough to revive him so he waits, and he's also too stupid to know what a replicator is or what it does and so he quits. And the real irony is that this tends to happen within the first 60 seconds of the match, so it isn't as if he has some amazing piece of kit that he'll lose if he gets respawned a million miles away from where he died.

So yeah, get the live players out of the mode. Enemy and friendly alike.

it would be good if it was an option. It is kinda fun to randomly run into another human squad out of the blue. Most human squads are surprisingly sweaty...

And yet, can you not do this in any trios or ranked match you choose to play? Can we not just leave "Bot Royale" to the bots?

Quick observation:

The last few days, so maybe since 6/16/26, I don't think I've seen another live squad in bots. Not sure how many matches I've played, but it's been at least a dozen a day over the last three days. So obviously my live squadmates are running around soaking up every enemy in sight. I keep waiting for them to run into the live squads and get vaporized on the spot, but so far it just isn't happening. Can't find any mid-season patch notification from Respawn. Anybody else experiencing this?

Yes!!! IDK why they changed it, the whole reason I played it was to casually play while improving and not get clip farmed off drop

Love to see the game getting the love it deserves 

First: Thank you to the team for the welcome changes.

Second: Please continue to consider the possibility of an option to toggle off live teammates. I could go on for hours about why this would make for a huge improvement, but at the very least it would be a good counter-balance to the "broad matchmaking bands" and the irritations that come with a squad made up of one high-skill aggressive player, and two less-aggressive and/or lower-skilled players. The frustrations, on both sides, seem pretty palpable.

And one quick follow-up:

"We have reduced Bot Royale Evolved lobbies to contain only one player squad"

Does this mean just my own squad made up of live players, or does it mean one other squad in addition to my own, meaning live enemies? I ask because while live enemies have been few and far between this last week, there have been some, including one notable match just today. I know there can be engagements where you don't always have time to assess the real nature of your opponents, but this was not one of those instances, and these were definitely live players.

I know I'm an outlier in this behavior, but if I know there are live enemies in the lobby then I have to play the match as if they're all live enemies, or at least could be. And that makes me just as conservative and risk-averse as if I was in trios or ranked. So I end up circling the map while my squadmates either die early and quit or win the match with 18 kills apiece to my 2. On me, yes. But also....
