Hey @bushboyike
Are you talking about the deadline of 26th October?
This deadline would've only applied to new accounts that users have linked.
If your platform accounts were linked to different EA accounts then it wouldn't have been possible to move the data over to another EA account as the progress is stored on the EA account and not the platform account. (When unlinking it also tells you that you can lose all your progress)
The 6-month unlinking period is put in place for security reasons, if Support says that they cannot circumvent it then they simply cannot.
Security measures are put in place with a reason, they don't exist to be bypassed.
If you only tried to get the account unlinked via support then it might be worth a shot to contact support again and ask if they can do anything about your lost progress.
In such a case they might be able to do something else, so make sure to explain your situation in detail to them.
EA called this a "full cross-progression" but you say you could never merge existing accounts? Epic merged my two existing accounts for Fortnite, Blizzard merged my two existing accounts for overwatch, and Ubisoft for R6 I was able to merge my two very old existing accounts, you cannot call this a full cross-progression when it's the worst we've seen from any company-developer. The worst part is the massive silencing of people with the same issue on social media, any posts about the subject on multiple platforms are deleted quickly (tested it myself) and we are redirected to either EA support or here where we are told by community managers to contact support.
