I have playing apex since day 1 and this new ranked system is questioning me finishing this season. Always been a diamond player and had my fill of weird random but these new ones drop solo into a rat spot and stay there the whole game.
Respawn need to sort this ASAP as its killing their devoted fans.
Go back to old ranked system, take off limit of points you can get from kills, matchmake rookie to gold, plats and diamond, masters and preds.
Finally sort out people cheating by using cronus, strike packs etc
- @tezpace69 Why shall every games ranked/competetive result in hiding the fact that some players are obviously better than you... This new ranked match making by MMR is the most stupid bullshiet ever... you don't matchmake by MMR that does not correlate to how the actual rank system calculate your skill....
They basicly turned the true rank hidden in the MMR and then your actual emblem just depict your skill within the hidden skillgroup because those are the people you face regardless of rank.... most * system they could cook up.
Now no matter your skill you can easily enjoy a meaningless emblem since you didnt face the best players because they are now cut off from your matchmaking...What they believe will happen is that your mmr will be adjusted in a way that will move you through the groups but the shift is stupidly low and has no impact and if it had bigger impact then you can demote yourself to an easier skillgroup and gain even higher rank because the hard opponents suddenly vanishes from your matchmaking....
