12 seasons later still dealing with exploits/cheats/glitches from so long ago.
Coincidentally gets worse the higher rank you are so now I'm starting to think its blatant cheating to get early advantage.
Had multiple games with valkyrie and shows no one nearby and boom people drop getting best loot instantly and already to kill us cause they likely are cheating and don't care to hide it.
Worse part is I was JUST literally telling my gf about it and it effing happened!
Can't stand this kind of crap in competitive games completely ruins it!
@MabusHadeshad a match where I won as a Lifeline, however the problem occured during the time when our 3rd got jumped on by another team, and me and the other teammate had to run back to help them.
The 3rd was a Caustic, and the other was Ash.
Anyways, me and Ash came back to Caustic fleeing. Caustic got knocked, and me and Ash took out the team. I picked up Caustic, we healed up and then got jumped by another team, which knocked Ash down. I picked up Ash, knocking one enemy player in the process. Caustic got another. Ash was re-knocked, and I knocked the last player.
"Okay... so what's the problem?" - okay okay, so while taking out that team that got Ash twice, we were being shot at by a Loba using the bow. After wiping out that squad, I hard push Loba, since they were a solo, and had their back to ring 3 and the other side of the ring was far. I watched Loba dip behind a rock, and when I got up to it, she was completely gone.
There was no deathboxes, she didn't run out into the ring (and would of gone up the hill and into our view), she wasn't hiding nearby, I didn't get any odd elimination credit, and there was no sounds of a heatshield going off. It was almost as if they were either a ghost player, or were someone who just clipped into the ground of the map.
Ring did start to close and we had to go around a mountain (we were at Antenna on Storm Point), we never ran into that Loba again. Felt like they didn't exist. I wasn't recording so I couldn't capture that moment.
This isn't the first time where I chased someone down, only for them to suddenly disappear into thin air.

Wow what a read and I appreciate it goes to show fine tuning is needed but after making this post I found cheats that do exactly what im saying. You're invisible dropping so no know is ever prepared and usually teams who use this will drop right on at least one person or split up to get the jump on you. Literally so many cheats out there just makes me wanna give up. Had someone shooting the 2020 light speed just last night and someones 3030 didn't have trail it was just instant from easily half mile away so practically anything you can think of is being exploited. Gun physics to be more instant and no recoil or any kind of drop that stuff would go unnoticed but provide a huge advantage. Kinda just might teeter off and give up on game with how far ranked has perished in quality. Can't stand cheaters and exploiters.
@MabusHades Unfortunately, yeah, there's a cheat for everything because some people wanna be childish and not develop their own skills or to enjoy the game normally.
I've watched someone two days ago shoot the Wingman with no recoil or anything, not even their character's hand moved from just standing there. Yet, they were perfectly tracking someone and knocking down their whole team.
I wish people would just stop cheating/smurphing and just enjoy the game, but that's never going to happen.
Yeah for me the fact it's only gotten worse over time makes it hard to really play game serious anymore it never used to be this bad.....Sounds like they need to hire people to literally spectate games live until we get rid of a substantial amount of cheaters.
But because of pc capabilities they'll just keep coming back which goes to show forcing crossplay has been the worst thing to come with many online competitive games. PC players are usually the ones cheating its statistic at this point smh.
Hope devs realize biggest issue rn imo is handling cheaters.
