He doesn't need a 50 health, auto regen arm shield, an invulnerable dome AND 15% reduced damage. That's too freaking much. I don't care if he's a little bigger than others it's too freaking much to play against. Especially when he has LMGs
@TheApexLegendNub I'm not surprised you could curb stomp teams with the big fella since he's insane in a straight up trade. Strong abilities that can change/decide a team fight too.
I'm a little surprised you win games with him though since surviving isn't his strength. Unless you play with a squad or you're the rare teammate that uses their mic I'd expect you to go down a lot.
@chiefthunderballOnce again stating, that his health needs to be nerfed. I just emptied a havoc mag into one, and it didn't even crack armor, most of the shots no reg as well, even though there was blood splatter, and then when my teammate shot at them, they too, had to empty a full mag just to knock the guy. His damage resistance must be bugged or something to give him pretty much god mode, and its annoying. I also shot at this gib's BACK and its the same exact thing as hitting him dead on when he got a shield out.
Bump - He still has too much health. If you both have the same gun, you pretty much always go down first, because most of the shots no reg on Gib's shield, like I swear that thing takes WAY more than "50" damage. In every fight against a Gibby, it takes like 2-3 mags to knock him, while he can knock you in 1/2-1 mag. That's broken.
@Midnight9746 True if you're using one of the low damage guns like the Car or R-99 he can be a pain to tear through. Being strong in a 1v1 and overall team fight has always been his strength even when he was a joke character in Season 1. He's a large character that's highly dependent on his abilities to be useful so how would you nerf that while keeping him viable?
@heme725Both Gib and Caustic have fortified, but it's mainly with Gibraltar, where fortified seems to act like invincibility. I think they need to debug his arm shield or make shots bleed through it instead of fully being absorbed.
The problem I'm having, is that Gib isn't taking the proper amount of damage, and I'm constantly seeing blood splatter with zero damage being done.
I break his shield and run as im fully aware im the focus of his squad mates, because I'm reloading and healing. He is clearly and most importantly crucial to ranked games and esports as a result. Maybe I need to change main.
