Grappling Downed Teammates

I think adding the ability to grapple a downed teammate, similar to how you can grappled an opponent, would be a great addition to Pathfinder's abilities. Pathfinder is characterized as a support/medic class, but has virtually no medic abilities. There has been cases where I have had teammates downed near me, but still out in the open. Being able to grapple them to you, pulling them out of harms way, would be very useful. Grappling them could even cause slight damage to them, to balance it more fairly. To be clear, only grappling DOWNED teammates. I know too many trolls who would use this to haul you into the lava, off the map, etc.

  • That sounds like a great addition aslong as it dosn’t pull you to your downed teammates

  • @6546537 So many of the classes are BS. But this addition to pathfinder would be beneficial towards actually making him a medic/support class.
  • Pathfinder is a support for the team but not in a medic way he supports by allowing the team to have the high ground, keeping the team together, and by showing where the next ring will be etc

@FaIIenAngeI777 That’s not support, but scouting. Or else the argument of transport should also make wraith a support yet she is a combatant
  • @Koochi-Q Path is meant to support his team by alerting them where the enemy is and transporting his teammates (Hence 'Forward Scout'). Path's abilities are used to get to high ground so he can help his team from there and keep a lookout for other enemies. Wraith has personal protection and the ability to create a safe passage between two points. Maybe she should be, because of voices in the void.

Haha this idea is actually cool but I wonder if buffing Pathfinder is whats needed for the power balance among the Legends. If you ask me, Pathfinder is probably one of the most powerful and useful (for the team) legend right now.

But since we talking about funny uses of Pathfinders hook, I would also have loved if you could ninja loot stuff with the hook. Imagine the rage quit potential if you joink a purple armor with your hook right in front a team mate eyes hahhaha

@CrazyPlays54Every character can ‘alert’ teammates that there are enemies nearby or in the distance by hust marking them. Pathfinder has no special ability to improve that experience. Wraith actually has as she exclaims if there’s someone nearby, further away or if it’s a sniper. She can also transport teammates to safety. Only difference with Pathfinder is that he can go to high ground where other enemies can’t go... except maybe Octane, but that alone shouldn’t classify him as a support class and wraith as a combat class imo, cause their abilities are essentially the same, only one can go high without effort and the other has to climb for it.

@Babbediboopi, if the devs see your post and think it’s funny enough to put in the game, I’m totally forumhounding/pestering you! XD

[EDIT] also the fact that he’s a forward scout should basically make him synonymous with Bloodhound’s/Crypto’s class since a scout does reconaissance instead of a medic/support type class.
