Gun Recoil
Where is it at? Every player who can beam me from 100 meters with a 99 has ZERO recoil. Almost everyone i watch even good pros have zero recoil. This is virtually impossible to not see some kind of s...
Gun recoil software yeah should be something really easy to fix with the Anti cheat as it will use the exact same input every time I'm the same as they should be able to detect teeming by using the player proximity settings if there are 6 players that are always in Close contact to each other and do not fight each other until the end of the game that should be enough for a ban the fact that they have not addressed these issues makes me think they're not being taken as seriously as they should be if they were about losing players cheetahs are a far bigger cause of people quitting the game itself would be healthier if they took Swift action against this

@E9ine_ACR99 has hardly any recoil apart from upwards.
This is true from 10-20 meters, but when you get to lets said 50 to 100, the recoil is very hard to control. And you are not standing still and shooting at standing target, you are moving and your opponent is moving, and no matter how much of a pro player you are, and how good you are at controlling the recoil, you will still miss a lot of shots from a medium to long distance.
Yet there is somehow new players with rank less than 100, who just straight up beams you at any distance with a high recoil guns, which is obvious a cheat or macro/scripts.
You don`t need a brain to make it by yourself, you just type Apex Legends recoil macro/script and its all over the internet/youtube and they stated its totally undetected, because its interact with your mouse, not with the game itself.
This is totally unfair for fair players like me, you(i guess) and the op. I train my aim every single day for 2+ hours, and spending time at the firing range esp for recoil at different distance with different weapons, yet Respawn is allowing people to just use a macro/script/program/cheat and all its done.
And yeah i watch a lot of top streamers and its obvious who use and who are not. But they are also not stupid, and they know they are watching, and you know that you can just toggle on/off it, so whenver you decide to highlight it, here we go, and when its fishy to turn it off.
I'm sick of seeing every game 5/2 pl*yer aim assist. This game is unbalanced.
AIM ASSIST IS UNFAIR ON PC.
come onnnnn, if we arnt gonna get a solution to this problem can we at least can a reply on why this problem cant be adressed.
starting to feel like streamers payed ea to leave there anti recoil untouched
Once again im bumping this serious problem that staff has acknowledged not even once since this post has been made. The players would like answers and your thoughts on people straight bypassing your game mechanics of recoil with g-hub macro scripts to counter all recoil. Once again I will keep bumping this until staff acknowledges this major problem and has possible solutions or thoughts on it. The post has gained a lot views likes and more yet no staff will make a statement on this.
Lack of support on this thread from staff just means to me you are allowing "Pro" players to cheat your mechanics and are being allowed to do so with no punishment. Funny how people can think they are pro players when they need third party software to aim a gun. =/
Put in G-hub detections and watch how many pro players are not so pro after all.
Almost all of the streamers have G-Hub open when they play. :D
It is funny im watching all types streamers even "Top" Listed Players. You want to see that they do it staff? Without even having to inspect their pc? Watch when match is over you will see a controller icon on screen as soon as move mouse its gone. This is very visible on many players who stream which is 100% indication of using 3rd party applications to assist with aim. Get this crap out of here and give us fair game play.
Feeling cute. Might remind EA of this problem again later... =)
This is a pred openly saying what they are using...
Need I say anymore on this topic? This is a streamers title. Not just any streamer but a well known one.
Sooo uhhh about the thing above ^^^^^^ do players now believe that great players are manipulating gun recoil yet and aim assist?? I have had many say im wrong when they are not looking for exactly what ive said is there. These guys will not have aim bot directly connecting them to all targets. These guy get aim assist and only aim assist with this controller via strike packs xim etc.
Watch big streamers when the match ends and your on your banner alone page with game stats. Look for the controller icon not aim bots. This is not what i mean at all. This is me pointing out what to look for. Post above proves my point 100%,
Bumping it again cause well no staff will assist in this serious concern.
Ohhh I have not forgotten! =P
The game at its current state is cancer. Pure cancer. Reminds me PUBG when script kiddos were everywhere . I had to quit and never play the * trash game. So i did the same today with Apex. Every single game ends in the same pattern. Land and you die almost instanly by the first squad you encounter. I spec em for a while and i see laser hits from 100 meters with havoc. It supposed to be mid rank but suddenly its like i am against predators 24/7 . Just got platinum and BOOM lasered in 0.3 seconds by every single kiddo out there. Ofc i dont have to mention the wallhack party that takes place in 3/10 games . The game will soon die cause no one cares. Thnx EA , i hope you feel the cancer pain i did while playing this trash game .
Bump because players care and staff dont.
This is an interesting chain. I've literally been shot by a top-level pro streamer in a ranked match (a member of TSM). He was 200 meters away and I was lazered as I was crossing a very narrow gap between a wall and a building. It certainly felt like he was cheating because I had never been killed that quickly. In fact, I am almost completely convinced this is what he is doing because he lacks any tactical thought or perception about the game. He simply runs around and attacks aggressively.
I follow his twitch channel and I did, in fact, wonder how he and other pros have near zero recoil. This led me to think that there was something wrong with how I was playing and I have spent quite a lot of time in the firing range trying to learn patterns and reduce my recoil. Yes, while you can "pull down on the mouse" and reduce your recoil, you can't eliminate it completely. For example, the 301 is pretty easy to mitigate most of the mag, but the very end (the little hook pattern), can not be mitigated. Most targets you shoot at are moving and compensating for recoil WHILE following a moving target at the speeds the game is played is quite literally impossible. I also use the Logitech G-502 Lightspeed and I never knew it was capable of this, but a simple google search reveals these scripts for sale all over the internet. I'm convinced people are using scripts as they wouldn't be software to be detected by EAC, but would simply be a mouse function. Unless someone can tell me that EAC monitors your mouse, or looks for suspicious mouse triggers in game, then I don't see how a person could be caught.
As a side note, this specific streamer - which you may have already been able to guess by now - is "all about the money". He was literally playing RAID Shadow Legends the other day. His twitch page is full of affiliate links to various companies. He has a bad attitude and doesn't speak with his chat very much. It is quite obvious that he doesn't particularly like playing the game and is simply playing it for an income. He streams tournaments he plays in as an obvious way to monetize it, despite there being a prize pool. While there is nothing inherently wrong with any of this, it establishes a motive to "be the best". That fact makes the claim that he uses a script more credible because he can't afford NOT to use one.
In contrast, I am subscribed to another (European) top level player, and I KNOW he isn't using scripts or cheats. He does not have many viewers or subscribers, and he plays the game to have fun. I watch him play, and he fights the recoil, but he outsmarts his opponents. He says what they are going to do before they even do it. He baits his enemy into moving the way he wants them to. He dies unexpectedly from random stuff we all have to put up with, such as someone sniping from across the map so it's not like he's invincible. He sometimes dies immediately on drop just like the rest of us. He is also a world champ in four other FPS games spanning his lifetime and he's not 21 years old. This means he's gained this ability over a career of playing FPS games.
There is a video put out by Linus Tech Tips which featured Shroud and a host of other professional gamers. The point of the video was to test whether monitor refresh rates mattered. Given the data collected in the video, it is quite obvious that there is a physiological difference between a "pro" and a regular person gaming. They have faster twitch muscle response, their vision is better, their brain processes information faster by milliseconds. Just like Usain Bolt running in the Olympics, they are simply BETTER than you and there's nothing you can do about it. That being said, none of those physiological advantages can make recoil on the weapon disappear at 200 or 300 meters, like we see on many streams.

I would also like to say, for the record, that I don't believe this problem is as widespread as its being made out to be. Mostly because I think the amount of "in the know" you would have to possess limits the field. You would have to own a specialty mouse such as the G-502 or the G-Pro, etc. You would have to know that macros exist. You would have to purchase it. I have owned this G-502 for months now, but have played the game since Season 1 on a regular mouse and was never aware of this until this very night. I also haven't spent but $10 on this game to buy a battle pass this season (Season 6). Before that, I hadn't spent a dollar on it. I think most players do NOT spend money on free-to-play games. Kind of like a church offering collection or a charity event. Most people DON'T give money, but some people do, and some people give a ton of money. But the quantity of people spending or giving money is less than a majority, so I am not persuaded that a majority of players are using macros, or even sizable percentage since it requires spending money and specific knowledge.
I do think I have encountered a not insignificant amount of players who are using scripts. I have screamed out many times "How the f*** did I just get lasered by a havoc from that far away"? Just earlier today I was headshot from 100+ meters by a longbow without a scope. Spectated the guy, he missed all the rest of his shots and died to a third-party. Can't definitively say that was cheating. Perhaps he got extremely lucky. But a havoc hitting every shot from 100 meters over? That's not possible.
All that being said, I think that, perhaps, people may be blaming some of their frustrations on this issue, when the real issue is their general incompetence at the game. I am not including the OP and many of the commenters on this thread in this assessment. I believe they've played the game long enough to know the difference.
Things people can do which make them instantaneously better players are tactical things such as:
I think the script thing is a problem at the highest levels. After watching countless hours of pro streamers, and banging my head on the table saying "Its like they give out cheats to the best players or something" or "its like I'm missing something here, what am I doing wrong" This is most decidedly what I was missing. I think the issue needs a response as well. If nothing else, but an acknowledgement to say... it's part of the game, because we can't do anything about it.
Now that I am aware this stuff exists, I am not sure how to feel. I definitely expect to be unfollowing many pro streamers from my account. I also think there is a level of "coverup" to this issue, as Twitch shows Apex having 31k viewers, but "Among Us" with 212k, Fortnite with 74K, and Valorant with 42K. That makes Apex a AAA game title with one of the lowest viewer populations on the streaming platform. If word were to get out that the top streamers on the platform were using scripts, it might likely cause an exodus of interest.
I just also remembered something. TSM now has a new "coach" which is another much less popular streamer from Europe, and one day I asked him how his aim got so good, and he responded that he didn't think his aim was particularly good. Then, many weeks later, he was shooting a Prowler with no attachments, and it went into automatic mode. He exclaimed loudly "whoa, what just happened there?!" The prowler just fired in auto without having the select fire attachment. He remarked how weird that was and moved on with the stream.
However, it stuck with me and I had never been able to duplicate a bug where the prowler autofires without the attachment, and I am not aware that such a bug exists or has ever existed. A Google search of this issue doesn't reveal any information about that ever happening. I've also never seen it happen to anybody else. Therefore, the most likely explanation appears to be that this individual was using a mouse script and accidentally triggered it and then covered it up immediately by exclaiming how weird it was.
I will admit I am wrong about this if someone can show me proof that this was a bug in Season 5 and/or 6. However, I submit this video as proof that it can be done.
I have noticed hacks that clearly hide the player's ID from the Server, How do you know? See if you can view the team that killed your team, If it switches you to another team then that team is hacking and is concealing their ID from the server thus why the server cant identifies the team even existing in the server lobby so they can't even be banned. This is why you have to do a video of the hacker and send it indirectly, What server and What time it happens so they can trace it. The reason they can not do anything about it is that they can not find the player on the server. The player is blank, hidden, or doesn't even exist. It seems that points gained are separated from occupying the server. Honestly, I do not know how they gain points and remain anonymous but it is a very bad code that they need to fix and the hacker that takes advantage of this that creates the hack has found it very useful.
Bump once again.
Fire your cheat team. Rehire people who know what they are doing, Cheating is soo bad in Apex Legends at this time. Then you got these 3rd party users. You will never enforce your own terms of service will you? You do zero efforts in stopping cheaters or 3rd party users. ZERO EFFORTS. You have turned Apex Legends to the wild wild west where anything goes.
This is why you have dropped from 10's of millions of players online to only 1 million. The owners of this company either have zero knowledge of what their devs are allowing or quite frankly just dont care about money. I am willing to bet they just dont know what is being allowed with zero efforts to even remotely try to stop any of it. This is why in season 3 alone i dropped over 1300 bucks to this season only dropping 10 for a battle pass.
So you got 1290 at very least you have lost from me in a single season then another season then another season. I buy what i like. I do not like apex in its current form where the company just allows cheaters and allows 3rd party users. Despite 16 pages of concerns with loads of comments from other players with this same concern to have ZERO EFFORT put in to even responding to this page.
I guess it is true you only want your quick buck then allow the game to rot like all the others. =/
On this note im done with apex legends. Not worth a dime not worth any ones time. They will never fix cheaters they will never do a damn thing. Uninstalling will be best thing my life has seen. Sick of a company who just gives zero f k s.
