They are not doing anything about this, most streamers are using macro for it. There is a reason most of them are on logitech, for the G-Hub easily macro stuff, and its always open on their desktop for obvious reasons. :D
If you dont keep your mouse hub open, settings and bindings dont work at mouse, i dont macro but i still have to keep logitech software open..
If stay as a tray icon its keep your settings right?
It doesn`t need to be open.
Still the only thing that needs to be allowed is only the DPi settings and colours.
Everything else should be straight up bannable.
