I think what you mean is that you would like gunshots to be more silent.
Now, I have no opinion either way, just wanted to stress that out!
We could argue all day whether guns are really that noisy or not (which they are, btw)... but this is all arbitrary gameplay decision by respawn.
to give you some example that illustrate (arbitrary) gameplay decision vs real life
- this is the future, tech (and noise) would be different
- it's unlikely one could survive an headshot in real life from advanced future gun tech, yet they can in the game
