I mean, I cant find them anywhere on the ground, my teammates dont have them, aswell as ppl I kill. So it seems to me that they got the axe along the other white items except they are not the part of the starter kit. Is it another respawns oopsie?
@TheApexLegendNubone game i looted 8 building in skyhook and didn't find 1 ....and yes the buildings where not looted.....

thats the nature of a BR. the groundloot is luckbased.
and sometimes you find 7 in one place. yes. but thats a part of BR.
the backpack feature should be removed completly. it's just annoying and thats my opinion since season 1.
i think its a leftover from survivalgames as an artificial impediment that does fit in those more realistic games but not in apex at all.
so i heard the devs want more quality loot on the ground. this should be step 1.
