@mathiassk1 Now that you've mentioned it, you're right. I honestly didn't notice it was a normal. I'm also surprised that there's not epic or legendary voicelines. Which at that point, Respawn would have to make them different somehow.
Maybe:
Common - Standard, one take of the voice line
Rare - Voicelines are spoken in different tones, (multiple per quip).
Epic - Voicelines are phrased differently. Examples with Valkyire's:
- "Let's see you do that. Oh wait. No wings. Maybe, flap your arms real fast?"
- "Let's see you do that. Oh, wait. No wings. Maybe, flap your arms really fast?"
- "Let's see you try that. Oh, wait. (sings) You got no wings.. uh uh. You got no wings... uh uh."
- "Hey, we've all been behind the power curve sometime. Well, not me, but not everyone is me."
- "We've all been behind the power curve sometime. Not me, but not everyone is me."
Legendary - Has different tones, phrases, and sound effects that match
Mythic - Has different tones, phrases, and sound effects of the heirloom being used. Lifeline's could be shocks with drumming, Valkyire's is just ramen being eatten or something, Pathfinder's is just the sound of punches, etc.
Iconic - Sounds relating to the event it came from. Like, the Post Malon event could of had music from one of Post's songs, (if it had a voiceline from the event).
In all seriousness, we don't need all the rarity for voicelines. What we got is alright. Mythic voicelines should of gotten a personal touch that matches the legend using it though.
