@DreNH17 Caustic still has more advantages than certain other legends. I can count up on one hand how many Wattson Fences I see, but need a calculator to count up the Caustic traps I see.
Caustic possesses many qualities which a lot of people overlook. The lack of vision was just another bonus that added on top of the annoyance of Caustic, with little to no chance to defend yourself when caught inside of a trap head on. And even if these advantages are limited to traps and ultimate only, said advantages are best used in where you find Caustics the most. In other words, in closed off spaces or tight areas.
Caustic effectively only has 3 counters. Another Caustic and Wraith. And for deployment, Wattson and Revenant is yet another counter, but those occasions are rare and not really worth accounting for.
Point is: Caustic is good at what he does, and if what he does isn't sufficient, maybe you should re-think your approach on playing him.
Remember: Characters require more than just one way of counter-play. And having little to no means to neutralize him creates frustration. And nothing should be frustrating to play against.
