Hi Apex Bye Apex

Hey,

I won't take much of your time, no one probably cares anyways (Same as the developers as it seems).

I started playing Apex like a month ago, I really loved the game and couldn't wait to play it each day. I'd say I'm a bit above average in FPS games, but Apex is a whole another beast with it's movement possibilities. I got to plat 3 with an 2.78 KDA and was really happy about it, but since then I realised how much wasted potential Apex actually is.

I'd say it takes a normal human being, who's not a fanboy, exactly about a month to figure out the * mess of the Apex system.

The game has no protection for new players and if you got a KDA above 2, you get matched in casuals with Masters and Apex Predators. Which basically means your only option is to play ranked, but even that is * up by all the smurfers (lvl 17 20 kills 4k dmg badges) and macro/script users with 0 recoil who mow you down at 50m in less than a second. Even when you do get into a decent game, you'll most likely get matched in the same team with a person who doesn't understand number values and rushes solo into a group of 3 players.

You basically spin a wheel each game and you got even less chances of getting a decent game than winning.

Not to mention you get banned for absurd reasons of "toxicity"

The ban was like a 2 weeks ago so no, I'm not butthurt about it, but imo it's ridiculous I get banned for calling someone a r*tard once while 90% of the players insult in voice chat with A LOT harsher insults and get away with it.

Anyways, I uninstalled the game and I wouldn't recommend anyone playing this clown fiesta of a game until they fix matchmaking, handle cheaters and add solo mode.

Bro... you have a KD above 2 and have that issue? My kd is under 1 currently under 1!!!!! Yet i am going against masters and preds... This game is so frustrating to play and I cant even look at it anymore. It is unbelievably unfair to people who are casual gamers like myself. The developers do not care like you mentioned. I switched to rank as well and just like you mentioned... smurfs... yup level like 17 bald wraith with a 20 bomb and a 4 k badge just murdering the lobby. The game is trash and toxic. No fun involved anymore. Lost that in season 1. I agree... leaving this game in my rear view and moving onto any other game.. don't even care what it is at this point. Screw this game and it's developers.

@Kaacak It is like the old saying do stupid things win stupid prizes. There are a lot of special needs people in the gaming community some of which games are what help them escape. You thought none of the concern of possible players with these issues.

While you think some words may mean nothing. To some it can meaning everything. Remember that next time you want to insult random players in any game.

Don't type it. That can be logged and monitored. Voice chat cannot.
And If you think this was a non-reason for banning, don't go to any Blizzard games.
* I am not condoning calling people names in the game....It's kinda childish.

@Irres169 Voice chat 100% can be monitored and most likely is monitored. Most games use a system kinda like your gpu programs that can clip the last xxx amount of gameplay/speech. I have friend who got banned for calling someone quite a nasty word in voice coms and they knew every single word he had said. The entire last 5 minutes of the game of him trashing someone they send him email with every single word he spoke.

So believe me they do log it. 😉

@Midnight9746 Nah many people have been warned/suspended/banned for this very thing. They can record it them self they don't need it sent in. Some hits harassment then it clips entire game most likely.

Actually this game does have that voice to text feature built in, so it is possible...but more likely someone sent in a vid like Midnight9746 said.
Most games today though, a Game admin would need to be in the voice channel with you....which is not worth their time...

@Irres169 No this is exactly what i explained. Legal reasons they must clip things including in game voice chat. This voice chat is ran through their systems. In the case of suicide threats or bodily harm to other players to hate speech these things must be recorded for the safety of all parties.

Best believe their system as well as all other games in game voice chat is 100% recordable via actual voice or in game text. Legal reasons is why.

I can guarantee you not all other games, you can say whatever you want in the Overwatch voice chat, they will never know unless someone records it.
But type a naughty word once...

@Irres169 Some companies like say Sony Online when they had Everquest and other games when voice chat was introduced someone threaten to kill them self. They was reported and the police and ambulance showed up at his door to ensure his safety.

Player safety is very important to a company as well as protecting its players from hate speech and more.
