How are ppl able to hack into our accounts so easy?

2 friends of mine already got hacked and banned accounts. 1 of them today, a lvl 500 account with 2 heirlooms gone just like that. How ?
Is EA and Respawn aware of this?

    @Cakito7 They are very much aware of it. Problem is they cant enforce people to take the time to secure the account fully. 2FA apex legends code phone link so no one can log in without phone being notified. Are couple more measures that can be done but these are best that can be. Seeing the accounts was compromised id assume they did not have these in place.

    Hmmm I wonder how hard it would be to just capture the Machine ID, that you first installed/registered on and then not allow account changes from anything other than that or something specifically designated from that ID as a trusted source.......probably way too advanced for our times....maybe in 2077.

    Until then let's just recolor the account and sell it for $18.
