I still dont understand whats you think was odd/buggy in this situation. 9 shots with a R301 actually makes 126 dmg if all are bodyshots (9*14=126), so I think he actually landed 6 bodyshots + 3 legshots ((6*14) + (3*11) = 117.  The R301 shots 13.5 rounds per second, so he only needed 9/13.5 = 0.67 seconds to land those 9 shots assuming he landed everything, which he probably didnt. You wrote yourself that he did that in a second? Well I think its totally plausible that a guy lands 9 out of 13.5 rounds with a R301 in one second, especially since you apparently were very close since you managed to land a full 121 dmg PK-shot on him in return.

    The OP's point is that 117 + 36 > 150.

I now recall that these kinds of discrepancies can be explained by rounding errors; Apex tracks both damage & health to several decimal places, but the damage numbers shown in-game & on the summary screen round damage to the nearest whole number *per bullet*.

So, for instance, if you're hit by 11 bullet each dealing 13.5 damage, you'll take 148.5 damage. However the damage numbers & summary screen will both show 11x14 = 154 damage.
