How many more topics do we need to create to NERF OR REMOVE THE SHOTGUNS?

I mean seriously, EVERY SINGLE fight ends with some noob shotgunning the whole squad, because they are too OP, no aiming required, no precision required, just point to a rough direction and that's it...

@CrashA321 Shot guns are meant to be easy to use in cqb.....that's why they excel at it, if you have an r99 or r301 , beam them before they get to cqb distance (you know where they excel). It's super simple, there's nothing wrong with the shot guns. Even so I am more of a fan back when they were 2 taped. It meant danger. People who have moderate aim with the r99 like getting up to cqb range because it's easier to aim point blank, but complain because there is a counter to it.

@alexi507 Well, as Crash mentioned, it's a fast paced game, there are many gadgets and ability to manouver and get from one point to another. Sure, if they come running at you from the fields in the open without cover it isn't a threat, but this will never happen. They will alway be on top of you, using Valk's ult, jumpad, zipline or portal... they always have a way to be in your face, therefore no shotgun should be available, except mozambique, for that really doesn't count as a shotgun.

@Shrimpess Then learn to get better positioning. Nobody forces you to play cqb, a team is porting on you, reposition yourself. It's not hard. A zip line above you, get to an advantage point before they get there.

I'll stand by my point, shot guns should always excel at cqb. Wether you allow a team to get the jump on you and get close enough to you; it's on you, have counter measures and play defensive characters that repel them ( although they are all nerfed hardcore so it's not the greatest , I'll admit that)

  @alexi507 I also stand by my point. I find the audio in Apex to be absolutely horrible and you ofte nget third partied. You can't predict every team's movement on the map. Someone is bound to get the jump on you. If I want to play scurry away then I might as well go play Sniper Elite, I want combat but currently shotguns are just a straight up blood fiesta.

  @alexi507 try dodging 3 ppl that valk ult/jumppad on you + jumptowers +horizon lift/path grapple. pk is 2 shot in the body (only 2 pellets have to hit the head) if you dont hit a headshot you still have 3 shots left
  lets do a little mind experiment here :
  imagine there are 2 people looking at you they both got the same gun and they are 5 meters away from you!
  what are the fastest ways you could die?
  shotguns and sniper rifles they 2 tap in the head and 3 tap in the body
  but what potential do you have without attachments?
  pk 9-121 5shots
  mastiff 10- 112 6shots
  eva 7- 99 8shots
  sentinel 70-160 4shots
  longbow 55 -130 6shots
  charge rifle 3- 120 4shots
  and now imagine beeing slightly of target
  sniper: you miss
  shotgun: still a good 30 to 80 damage
  but how many shots will it take if you are god himself(you only hit headshots):
  pk 40%
  mastiff 33%
  eva 38%
  sentinel 50%
  longbow 33%
  charge rifle 50%
  thats the ammount of shots you have to hit out of one mag to down 1 person
  again what happens if your aim isnt perfect?

  but with shotguns you still get a good 30 to 70 hit even when you are 15m away
  have you ever seen an actual pro player prefering a sniper over a shotgun?
  yeah shot guns one shot in real life but i have never seen anybody tank a pistol bullet in the head and be like yeah i could totaly take 7 more without a headache
  yet here we are in apex where you take 2 shotgun shots
  or 9 p2020 headshots?

    @Mortal-san Main argument, you are 5 meters away bud, a shot gun will excel at the range. That's the point, do your little mind game at 100m and your snipers win, why cause they are snipers.....also a 2 tap.
