How to bring back old Battle Passes

Whatever level you achieved during a season, once the season is over you can buy that battle pass up to that level.

This means cosmetics are still exclusive to those who played and leveled up during that time, and it means the content is not being falsely brought back, as it is still exclusive and time limited.

This is a win-win, because this will make money for the devs and it will allow people to keep their OG status whilst rewarding loyal players who played during past seasons.


This also incentivises people to play and level up the battle pass during a season and will not stop player engagement.

    Battle pass rewards are exclusive to the season's battle pass. So them not allowing other means to obtain those rewards is understandable. Then no one stands apart from others in terms of being able to rock things no longer obtainable inside the game. When you bring back these type of rewards then people who grinded to get those rewards then means the grind was for nothing for the most part. There is nothing that would set people apart with cool badges or skins and such. Everyone would and could look like a elder player.

    That's not what I'm saying. Just that you should be able to buy it up to the level you achieved during the season, no further. So they're still exclusive.
