How to Fix The Ballistics

I know it's a game, but a bit of realism goes a long way with First Person Shooters. I am ex-military and know a few things in regards to bullets, ballistics, explosives, electricity, and projected energy weapons. To start I want to say the range of most of your weapons are way off. What i mean by this is the bullet drop-off; the distance a bullet will travel before it begins to drop. The stanard for each weapon category is as follows

-shotgun buckshot/incendiary/kinetic/sonic : 30 meters

-pistols/sidearms/slug shot : 300 meters

-SMG : 500 meters

-Assault/Marksmen/Burst Rifles : 1000 meters

-Sniper Rifles : 1500 meters

-Anti-Tank Rifles : 3000 meters

This standard is held world wide and is relative to project energy weapons as well. In the manner of energy weapoms the closest types of weapons to them are ionized tounds and rail mag weapons. Ionized rounds carry an electrical discharge causing a taser like effect to targets. In regards to rail mags, rounds have greater velocity and effective range based on how much energy is applied. There are also particle weapons that accelerate fragments to near the speed of light upon firing. These weapons were why we no longer use blast reactive armor as the round would go straight through and liquify people inside.

The heavy ammo seems to be of higher caliber than the light ammo, much like the difference between an AK-47 and an M16D. The heavy has actual "stopping power" which is weird sense the force should carry more so than the shove from boot or fist does. So instead of staggering the target it should push them, propelling a target forward if running away from the shot while slowing them down if rushing the shooter.

It is my opinion that energy weapons should do less health/armor based damage but do more shield & critical damage. I feel the should more accurate and have less spread but higher recoil. This would of course change how players veiw them but taking into account the LStar's overheating and reserve ammo vs it's range, accuracy, and damage being less of LMG and more of a SMG by adding the aforementioned changes it would be significantly more effective.

I love the new round types and would love to see things Cryo, incendiary, shock, radiation, etc. Just a few thoughts, hope to see some feedback, see you on the ground legends.
