A plot twist is always... fun.

But there is absolutely no way she was talking to Crypto through the drone. It is Mystik as, according to apexlegends.gamepedia.com, she remains in contact with Crypto and helps him infiltrate the Apex Games and avenge Mila's possible death.

Here's a theory

If the Mercenary Syndicate is behind Mila's disappearance... is it possible REVENANT did something????

@CompleatBeet Can’t see where on gamepedia.

But no, Revenant probably had nothing to do with Mila’s disappearance. That was probably within the last 10 years, and Revenant went rogue 30 years ago.

      @CompleatBeet Well, it doesn’t 100% say that. It just says that she sometimes helps Crypto.

      Could be possible, but Mila seems like she’d be the person.
      A. We already know her voice, it’s very similar.
      B. We’ve never met Mystik, only read about her.
      C. It’d be a bigger plot twist to reveal Mila is alive, and it’d also add some extra lore to explore in the future.

        The lady in the drone sounds old. Mila sounds young. That's proof enough.
