I am confused

Recently I have watched the Titanfall 2 solo campaign gameplay and I have found something I do not understand: Jack Cooper is born on 10.06.2687, Alexander Nox (Caustic) on 25.02.2685, which implies that the events of Apex Legends happen in the year 2733. Jack Cooper is in his 30s according to the bio on Wikia, which would result in him being in his 60s after the assumed thirty year gap between Titanfall 2 and Apex. But what puzzles me is that Caustic should have been also in his 30s back when Titanfall 2 happened, but considering an exact thirty years, he would have been 18, and Cooper 16, hence the two year difference between them.

Does Apex take place in a parallel universe or is this a minor continuity error that does not necessarily need to be taken into consideration?

  • @iX_R4D4R_Xi I think Apex is based in the universe of Titan Fall. It's possible that this isn't the same Claustic, considering Wraith could be from another time period due to being able to phase. (In the video from the outlands, another Wraith came to save ours, as we can see she gets caught and ours escapes the lab, grabs a scarf, with the other Wraith's knife in hand and sees a banner reading "APEX LEGENDS".

TR;DL I think this is another Claustic because from my understanding, our Wraith is from another time.

@Midnight9746 Parralel universes run at the same time, only different outcomes, so no matter the universe, age should always be the same, unless the individual has already died
  • @Koochi-QNot if its time travel through the phases :0 I mean Ive seen movies and cartoons where you go through portals to different dimensions/timezones so it makes since for caustic to have different ages

@Koochi-Q what leads you to believe that parallel universe's run at the same time as any other, let alone that they have time at all??? 🤓

  • Your answers could all be plausible, and thank you for checking this topic. Honestly, yesterday I have thought more about it and the only thing I could come up with is that the whole thing is just an error, made by the storyline writers, since Apex is not Titanfall 3, they didn't really mind putting the characters (except for Kuben Blisk, who aged normally) into a world that  is chronologically after the Titanfall 2 war.
