I heard that Season 1 didn't have the many problems of today?

Revert all you want. It won't reset all the secondaries to their original accounts and it won't remove cheats on players' computers or consoles. And those are, imo, the two crippling features of this game right now.

The game was ofc more unbalanced back then (like perfect hipfire Wingmans with increased mag size and fire rate, Lifeline popping heals faster and Wraith insta-Q etc etc). But if we just talking performance, the game ran smoother from your individual POV and less BS like getting shot around corners and prediction error lags and rubber banding never happened..

But with that being said; we dont know how much "fairer" the game was back then. I would assume that all the performance issues that happens now is because they try to make it fairer for everyone, i.e merging 60 different "realities", i.e different 60 players with 60 different pings into one reality. For all we know; back then alot of BS happened just that the game didnt showed it to you =)

Seems a bit unlikely that Respawn purposely made the game run worse for no reason other that incompetence tbh. Must be due to technical reasons that we dont know about or understand.

I really wish most of season 1 was reverted. Guns and meta were much better in my opinion. The game is better when it comes to processing power and graphics yet there are so many issues today that you would think they would’ve remedied by now. The matchmaking was so much better. You would get paired up with whoever queued up close to when you did so it was more random. Now if you’re remotely good you’ll get matched up with all the top players that are playing when you are. It’s cancer and exhausting. I just want the wingman r99 r301 back to how they were season one. They were broken but that game is better when there’s a lot of broken guns vs when it feels like everything sucks. I miss when you could have the chance to pick up a purple evo off rip. It wasn’t super balanced but I preferred it that way. Prowler had select fire which I miss because I hate being forced to use the prowler in burst. I miss when all the smgs and re45 had barrel stabilizers because they were easier to hit shots with. Hip fire they weren’t as good obviously but I’ll take ADS consistency over hipfire any day. I miss the gold evo that was always a treat when you found one. Self revive was also a treat and I don’t think it was too broken only broken in certain situations that were rare. I wish they would kind of do what fortnite did where they did like a throwback version LTM where it was kings canyon OG and the gun balances were reverted because I miss some aspects of the game I fell in love with. Most of all I just wish they would make solos a permanent game mode over everything. I’m on PlayStation so I have only seen a cheater once which I am fortunate. I think if I was on PC I would be exhausted of cheaters so I feel for them when they complain.
