I love the new ring changes!

And that’s it, I love that finally it feels like ring running is a thing, the ring does real damage and the ring closes soon too. Suddenly it feels like the game is a lot more alive and stacked with action

I’d say the single best change this season is the ring closing, and that’s saying something because there was a lot this season!

Yeah, and apart from that I think the wingman needs a lower fire rate as it still sees a lot of oppressive play even though it has worse ammo.

The vantage ultimate sniper needs to deal 100 damage fixed and the damage amplification needs to be increased to 25%, because whelp, it seems like it’s worse than the sentinel, and that’s saying a lot lol.

Another possible healthy change could be that snipers regenerate shield for 25% of the damage they deal, thereby making sniper trades less of an ammo and shield waste and give players a strong incentive to bring snipers.

Hate the shorter timer. Turns the game into pure run-and-gun. I used to be able to play for position, but now I have to move from drop to circle in a straight line as quickly as possible no matter where that might take me. If this was what I wanted I could have just stayed with Halo, or any one of dozens of other arena shooters. The irony is that this was supposed to make the map "competitive," but the streamers don't really seem to be convinced. Well, I don't stream but I'm not convinced either. Maybe I'll figure out ways to play this annoyance, but I have to say that I don't feel very motivated to try.

1. reduce the timer from 3 minutes to 1 minute
2. make the first ring as much as damage as the 2nd ring
3. remove most of the jump towers
pick just two. there is no reason for Respawn to do all three at once. You think its bad now, wait until Stormpoint when there are no jump towers and that map is badly designed as it is.
i feel like im playing in a far more difficult server or something.
this is complete BS

@huyness6 The jump towered should have never been removed. It is required for quick rotations, and escaping fights where you are in too deep, I think there are only 2 or 3 jump towers left 😬

and they nerfed Valkryie as a final kicker. So now you have no time to loot and you have to run fast and immediately if you're far from the first ring and get killed by three other squads.
who the hell at Respawn thought this would be a good idea?

@huyness6 They only listened to the community when they nerfed valk. I like the valk nerfs, it’s just they removed to many jump towers, valk should not be a team requirement.

The ring timers turned the game into pure dog caca. There is no time to even grab a gun before you have to start running. Let alone if you have to fight. If you're unfortunate enough to land with another squad, you're going to be fist fighting over the 3 guns in each POI, and if you're lucky enough to win that battle, guess what, the ring is on top of you, and you have zero meds. GG. 99% of the time, you won't live past the first ring. These changes made it moderately more challenging for the top 1% of players, and the rest of us, they basically made it not worth playing the game anymore.

The new ring system is good, but I believe removing the jump tower wasn't a good idea as it slow the movement and rotation of the players.

i disagree. my squad just fought off 2 other teams, then died trying to run to the ring. i shouldnt be punished when i win a fight. not fun at all.

Best case scenario you have to run in a straight line for the ring, without any time to strategically rotate. It deletes actual skill of the game and makes it more a ring survival game not a battle royal.
