I quit, and this is why you should.

Apex Legends when it first came out was very fun, the community was non toxic and was there just to have fun as games should be played, now it’s just toxic, team mates running away mid fight, saying * things, the game is buggy, server crashes, game errors. Then the money side of it, having players spend crazy amounts of money on heirlooms, prestige skins. Recolors of weapon skins or wraiths heirlooms. The bottom point of this post is to say, I just miss the time period where people played for fun, not worrying about anything else. I wish you guys the best.

  • I mean... Team mates running away could be a smart move. Do you find that both your team mates run when you stay and fight? If so, the problem is you not them. I'm not sure what you mean by * things being said, but I assume it's something either racist, homophobic or just plain stupid... Which has been the case with every free to play online game (including pre-season 1 Apex) And I don't know about you, but I've not been kicked out of a game of Apex in a while, where, during pre-season 1 to I'm not entirely sure when, but definitely up to season 5, I was getting code Leaf and code shoe constantly. As for bugs, I've only encountered one in the past couple months and that only happened once. The money point is half true and half not... I'm not one who cares about Heirlooms, so it's not really an issue for me, it doesn't effect gameplay at all, but I suppose I could see how one might be annoyed by it. But since it's a free-to-play game, I don't really mind. It's all well and good to step away from a game, I just think it's moronic to say "I'm not having any fun, so none of you should have fun either

  • Hmm, I'd say that this is an issue that pretty much every game has.

The more players come to a game, the more problematic players wil come.

Though on the other hand a lot of good players will also come.

The game overall can definitely use some tweaks, though I wouldn't really say that it's something to quit the game over.

At least, I myself don't encounter these problems in a massive amount, so it might just be because of that.

Though if you have a diverse library of games, this shouldn't be an issue IMO.

Only if you play a single game or just grind a certain game too much, you'll find yourself hating it quite soon.

  • @Arsenalaj97  Not to tell you what to do, but just to say that there are some ways to deal with the frustrations you mention.

Toxic teammates are easy to deal with . . . just mute them. Running away is gonna happen, play pubs and quit to lobby. Don't like how much money people spend on Apex, don't spend your own money.

If you are having server issues and bugs, that does suck and would be a reason to quit.

For me it is the matchmaking. My way of dealing with it is to play pubs and Quit to Lobby when the game is obviously rigged against me. I don't have time for that crap.

I play for the 1 in 10 games where it actually feels legit, you are able to have some success, & you have fun. I try to get through the other garbage as fast as possible.

100% agreed. I've got to the point now where the game isn't me and my squad playing against 57 other players. It's me, alone, sparring endlessly with the matchmaker. It's not what I signed up for, but it's just as addictive and just as frustrating, so I keep going. More fool me, I guess. Pity my teammates, although they need pity for so many other reasons....
  • idgaf about any of that if you have a problem with randoms on your team then you should just find friends to play with.
