The new rev is cool and all but I want the old one back this new revs ult doesn't do anything is trash absolutely garbage only 75 extra shield maybe even less for it to get lasered off it’s so stupid he’s old ult was amazing he dies but comes back like that’s sick in my opinion they nerfed revenant way to much like have a mechanic to choose which version you want
The thing they refuse to get is that Revenant was a vibe. All of his old abilities were a vibe too. Its like trashing away an excellent flavour for a trash one (imo). He was so special and they made him like the rest to satisfy the larger casual audience who prefer to have the ability to escape a fight and reset rather than choosing a legend who reward skillful players who actually hit their shots and use their resources strategically.
And I say this as a current rev main myself. The only viable synergy between his current abilities is that his improved climbing (passive) can help you scale building with the aid of his tac. Making it easier and faster for you to get to a high ground or a beneficial space. One can say that you can use his ult with his tac too to quickly finish someones off but imo by the time you ready up your weapons after using shadow leap you are probably already lost the additional health given to you by the ult unless you are playing in a lobby of noobs. And speaking about his ult. Its not fun. Not good. And definitely not creative. It reminds me why abilities that straight up gives you health/shields/Damage output boost without any skillful and strategic planning are not good or even healthy for the game itself. Both parties (Revenant and his opponent) are not satisfied about this but mostly are the opponents since the majority of players only want to win and dont care about how fair it is or how healthy it is for the game.
This entire game is a catalogue of features and mechanics that were better in the past. Just add Rev to that lengthy list.
