idle character choice always the same

Why is it that whenever I'm not paying attention and someone picks whoever I've been playing as first, I always get Caustic? Every single time. Why isn't this random? And if it is always the same every time (Which it is) Why don't you let me choose in the setting who my preferred legends are?

Just give us the choice of three legends in a primary, secondary and tertiary slots, that way if one person picks your primary legend, you get your secondary, and if someone picks your secondary too, you'll always get your tertiary.

Why isn't this a thing?!

And why is it *always* Caustic?

If it can't select the favourite character then it'll default to the one you have the most kills with.
If that one is also taken then it should default to the one which you have the 2nd most kills with.

Yeah Ive noticed the same the last couple of weeks. Granted, it doenst happen that often since I try to not afk during legend selection but when it happens, it always gives me Lifeline on my main account (happened three times in a row) and Bloodhound on my Solo Q account (happened two times in a row).
I would think that IF they did something like this, they would at least give us your most played but unselected legend but I never play Lifeline or Blooudhound (literally had 0 kills on Bloodhound first time it happened).

I used to play Caustic all the time... Back in season 2 to probably about season 5. But I haven't since then.

I don't normally go AFK, I just start scrolling through my phone or answer some text or something, and when I hear the voice line I just assume that was my character, only to look up and see Caustic there...

But yeah, either the most used or the highest kill/damage rating legend you have...

Oh... Gotcha, yeah, I just checked, somehow I've got 1500+ kills with caustic... I must have been good at this game at somepoint, haha

@XHelperZ This used to be random as I would get Wraith, Seer, Gibraltar, Fuse, and even Horizon, when only Wraith was the one I mainly played as before Valkyrie.

Been wondering why when people took Valkyrie, its been giving me Wraith. Honestly, the enjoyment I had for the character isn't the same as it was in season 1. I prefer the second choice to be Lifeline.
